Ashpaw smiled right back at the queen. It was still pretty exciting to be an apprentice, now!

Anything specific... Anything specific... Aspenkit had a good point. He did want to know everything! But... a good place to start did come to mind. "What about..." Wow, there really was a lot of things that came with clan history. "Clan leaders and what they've done?" He asked. He knew about some things Dawnstar has done... but only the recent things. It would be interesting to know how not only what she's done... but any previous leaders as well.

She nodded eagerly and sat down her tail twitching with excitement

rookfire nodded, grateful that she let go of the subject without fight. perhaps that should be the expected outcome and he was simply around rough warriors with little sense of personal space and grown used to it. neither option bothered him much and there was no doubt in his mind that this very thought process would be as fleeting as a startled bird. there one moment and gone the next.

"back to my usual business" he replied with a smile, "its not changed much, besides the fact that apprentices are more likely to approach me now" rook continued with a small chuckle, unwilling to recognise his previous mistakes in any capacity. sure he was no where near the amount of work he did during his brief run as a medicine cat, but that hadnt really been sustainable anyway.

rookfire would probably hesitate in outright admitting it, but he had been in and out the nursery more in the past moon than he had been even as a kit. though that was mostly due to the fact that there was no nursery for the majority of time he was a kit. nightshiver was easy company, kind, quiet.
it appeared she was already busy today though, a history lesson.

the enforcer settled near nightshiver but not without nudging a lone kit (eelkit) with his tail. a small black tabby, looked to be old enough to understand enough to talk to. "you good?" he muttered in the small toms direction, listening to aspenkit and ashpaw squeak in excitement.
