lotuskit feels like the older and bigger he gets, the smaller and more lackluster the camp feels. he bets that apprentices and warriors don't gotta sit around and be bored!! if he truly lacked common sense (he has just enough to survive), he would've went to owlstar already and told her how he should be an apprentice extra early. that's just how amazing he is. his brothers too, he supposes.. just so he can keep an eye on them. it'd be hard to do that if they were in totally different dens. not that he worries about them or anything -- nooo, never. anywho, everything is..boring. today is no different, unfortunately.

until he spots his brother flipping up every rock in the camp and his curiosity is piqued. seriously, what business does frigid have flipping rocks and sticks?? he's gotta know!! gotta! determined to find out, the tabby rises from where he was sitting and pads over. "what'cha doin' frigid?"

Fallenspirit glanced at the she-cat, his eyes filled with exhaustion. "A lot, I've had to do a lot," he mewed tiredly. "Asterpaw's territory tour, Spiderpaw's swimming lesson that almost drowned the both of us," the tom rushed. He glanced back up at the sky, remembering how Fallenflower's voice had echoed in his head, at Lionsbeach after he had caught Spiderpaw from the the undertow.

The words echoed in the tom's head, a continual reminder of his past, come to haunt him. Firesong. That name went up in flames with the fire that took his parents. He shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts. He was supposed to be talking to Nettlesnout, not reveling in his issues.
