WHITERABBIT . 24 MOONS . SHE/HER . WINDCLAN
Hmmm. Whiterabbit holds on to a big, wooden grin and watches the other warrior. Her short tail twitches, thumping the ground idly.
"Sparring, that's fun. Say, do you all get much practice conversing?" Right now, being a nuisance might just be the whole point. Or half the point, anyway. "Just that you seem a little...unskilled, is all, but I'm more than happy to help. We can start easy—introductions! My name's Whiterabbit. What's yours, and, how big are the toads they're feeding you over there?" She stretches a paw out and reaches it up high as if measuring the distance between the ground and this other warrior's ear tips. "Or do you just eat slightly smaller cats?"
The bobbed tailed she-cat swore she smelled the arrival of the fish cats before Owlstar had been visible. Their scent wasn't the worst- that belonged to Shadowclan with their putrid aroma- but it always felt pungent. Ah, and it looked like one was even deciding to approach her. Myrtlespeckle sat just a bit straighter, trying to make sure she didn't come off as some half-asleep elder.
"You may." Her own tone carried a cool politeness. "I can assure you there's no thorns waiting for you."
Well, this cat wasn't showing hostility to her, which was a start, although her cool, polite tone made it hard to gauge her feelings. Irisfrost sat down beside the WindClanner, wrapping her tail around her paws. "I'm Irisfrost. What's your name?" Best to start with introductions. She figured that if the she-cat didn't mind her sitting next to her, she probably didn't mind engaging in some small talk too as they waited for ThunderClan to arrive.

Silentmutter blinked. She was still talking to him? Was she nuts? Why she had approached him, of all cats, completely baffled him. He had the worst social skills out of any cat he had ever met- His father Mudburr excepted, of course. "Silentmutter." He whispered, large fluffy tail twitching. "And... No, I don't converse.. much." Understatement of the year. He hardly ever talked to anyone, and when he did, it was quiet, awkward, and short.
The massive tom-cat blinked down at the much smaller she-cat. Other cats..? Why would he do that? He liked toads though. Delicious. After a slight pause, he muttered, "I.. eat frogs, and normal prey." Wasn't that obvious? I mean, sure, he was like, three or four times her size, as the biggest cat in Shadowclan, but still. "I don't eat others.. Just big." Welp, that was his conversing skills exhausted for the next moon. Whiterabbit talked a lot. Much more than him, certainly.
Come on Crowtooth the others were there, get you butt up no making windclan appear weak. Groaning low at Mistlewhisker Crowtooth let the tone shift to over dramatic and whiny rolling over to sprawl into his friends personal space. "Tell me why" Aint nothing but a mistake- no "That when gatherin's happen they 'ave ta be in the middle o' the night?! Like maybe yall featherless owls in shadowclan find this a reasonable time," Poking fun at the long held rumor that the bog-born clan was in fact, nocturnal. "But some o' us need our beauty sleep!" Him probably more them most. Kinda, some cats apparently found him rugged.
"Im a busy deputy 'ere Mistlewhisker! I should be in my nest sleepin' off my busy day! Ive earned a good snooze but nooooooo, once a moon Im up 'ere, not doin' nothin'! Face it sweetcheeks we deputies are purely ornamental at these things an' its high time we take a stand against the tyrants," Crowtooth had fully rolled on his back, belly up and floppy as he raised a playful paw in a fist and shook it at the leaders perched above them "an' declare we deserve ta sleep through these things! Whos wit' me!" This'd be a short rebellion if Mistlewhisker didnt join given she was, at current, the only other deputy present.
And yet despite that meaning they had the whole deputies rock shelf to themselves Crowtooth was still laying on her paws.

(Short post, sorry)
Myrtlespeckle
|| She/her || 24 Moons || Windclan Warrior ||
Drats, she had to admit that was a beautiful name. Whichever Riverclan leader had given her the name had some sense for such things. Not that her own was bad. "You can call me Myrtlespeckle. Do you come to these often?" Her own lack of desire to come to these things was biting her in the tail, but she supposed it made for good small talk.

Irisfrost
Myrtlespeckle, that was the cat's name. Irisfrost listened as she asked her whether she came to gatherings often. "I suppose I do," she said after a moment of thought. She had indeed attended most of the recent gatherings, although she had skipped a few. Not that she talked to anyone during them; a habit she had decided to break tonight. So far it hadn't backfired on her, which she was grateful for. Maybe she should start socialising at these events more often. It passed the time, at any rate- provided the cat she was talking to was willing to chat, like Myrtlespeckle. "You?"
What was it? What kept bringing him back here? Some kind of morbid facsination with spending the whole night anxious? Some residual need to make himself feel less bad about how mean he'd been to Slugpaw, just that once? Maybe they hoped that someday, they'd come to this place and all the other clans would be acting like absolute rays of sunshine, telling him it's okay, they like RiverClan, and actually, all that figthing stuff is silly - they should all be best friends now. That they would show that innocent kindness that slugpaw had displayed those moons ago, and this time, he wouldn't throw it back in their faces. Was he being dramtic? Probably.
They sighed, trudging into the sand, staying around the outskirts of the group. The grains didn't stick to their fur much, depsite the moisture. Their fur had always been a pretty good protective layer. Very RiverClan, they supposed.
Ugh. They wanted to go home. But that wasn't really an option now, was it? They'd have to go through the territory, alone, in the dark. Probably down Lionsbeach, maybe they'd see that fun sand again - would it look different in the dark? Then, past some gravelly rivers - maybe take a quick dip in the shallow waters - oh, but it would be a bit cold. Maybe it was worth it though, the water always made him feel calm. Finally, they'd walk back to camp - it wouldn't take long, but their fur would probably dry by then, in the cold breeze. Thinking about it now, it didn't seem that scary. Though, Owlstar probably wouldn't want an apprentice to wander around alone.
They blinked.
Oh. They were here already. They hadn't even noticed - the imaginary walk back to camp had almost felt more real. It'd enveloped their mind, almost like the tide drawing over the sand and stones. They sighed again, hoping to release some of the anxious energy that seemd to be consuming them - then, sat down right where they were. Among RiverClan, but close to the edge of the group.
Cedarpaw “You know I talk too much. Honey, come put your lips on mine and shut me up.”
He/Him (trans ftm) ⬖ Bisexual ⬖ 13 moons tan tabby tom with long, fluffy fur, blue eyes, and small white splotches
"I'm good... T-Thanks for asking," he murmured, looking up as ShadowClan filed in. At least another Clan showed up. Cedar was worried that it would just be WindClan. Although, that was a silly thought because ALL the Clans showed up.
