Meeting time - here goes. If all went well, Stempaw should be becoming a warrior. Though, he could understand if Dawnstar wanted to till next time, with it being late notice and all. Ah, they'd see how it goes. Either way, he was proud of the kid. Who, infact, was sitting right there in the clearing - seemingly worrying over his pelt? "Look who it is." The tom slunk over, tapping him on the shoulder with his tail. He wondered if Stempaw had requested a warrior name, pf if he was leaving that to Dawnstar? Newtbelly hadn't given any input on the topic. He'd expect something like Stemtooth, for the chirpy yet determined cat. Maybe Stemclaw? He did do well in his spar, and there was just something quite spikey about his personality.

Ashkit purred as he excitedly trotted along beside his family, looking up at Dawnstar as she rested upon grimpeak. He wondered how many meetings have been held in this spot... and if today would be the day he would become an apprentice! He was practically buzzing with excitement, barely restraining himself from bouncing circles around his parents.

Wildkit padded out of the nursery at the leader's call, ears perked towards the leader. Yellow eyes found a familiar, dark, mottled tabby. The cadence of his step increased as he approached Morningpaw. He still felt so much smaller compared to the apprentice. "Morningpaw! Hi! I've been practicing more with my hunting crouch." He purred, eyes alight with appreciation.

Mosstangle was grooming a particularly stubborn burr from between her toes when she heard Dawnstar's call. Looking up, the clan was already beginning to gather. Quickly getting up. Her eyes scanned the gathering crowd for a familiar tom... and there he was!

The tabby snuck, though wasn't trying terribly hard to be sneaky, up behind Blackjaw before purring loudly and sitting beside him, pelt lightly brushing his. "Hey," She greeted him warmly before lifting her paw once more and continuing the difficult task of removing the stubborn burr. It wasn't painful, just annoying... A little bit less so with the warm tom beside her, though.

Specklekit bounced over to her brother. Ash! I think this is our apprentice ceremony! She squealed, unusually energetic. She normally would sit patiently, but not this time! She was going to be an apprentice! I hope I get a nice mentor!

Nightkit goes to sit with her brother and sister. I hope I don't get a mean mentor. She thought. How awful would that be!

Mistlewhisker, Hillstrider, Birdecho and Emberpaw all settled in different parts of the clearing, each wearing a different expression and each pleased by the sunshine.

➢ Hollowpaw would be lying if she didn't admit her was nervous for this moons meeting. It was the meeting. Anxiety buried itself deep in her pelt, finding its way into even corner of her mind as she joined the crowd. Sticking close to the front, it would be easier to move forward when summoned by the giant Leader. She had been keeping rough tabs about the other future Warrior's. Fish and Lionpaw, those two were the only she had noted down for now, any that made their way from the woodwork would be a surprise.

She wondered if Hawkbite would be here, he was always there for other meetings but this one was important. He would be proud, right? Not of just her but all three of them....right? Lionpaw was the only funny part to her, they had been Apprenticed at the same meeting and now they were Warriors at the same one. How time flies. If either joined her near the front would determine if she was open this meeting or not, both worked but hey, she was open to whatever the worked tossed at her right now.

This was it. The moment he’s waited for for his whole life. Not the sole goal of everything, but this was a very very large step forwards. He held his head high and he padded up to the meeting. Why be humble? He didn’t get cats like that. This was his big day, he could be proud. He’s worked towards this for what- 5 moons? Yes- that was right. So, needless to say this was well deserved.

His blue gaze landed on another apprentice he knew of but didn’t know. Hawk-Dads own apprentice, the position he wished to be in honestly. Now it felt irrelevant, he got through his training just fine with solid cats and HawkBite still helped him with battle. However, back when he received the rank he currently stood in, an envy burned in him. Tsch- so petty and immature. He was never immature anymore!

HollowPaw is getting her name too it seemed, he was certain that’s the news he heard. Coincidental, huh? Perhaps he could be social and polite for once, yeah? The brown tabby (who was quickly growing in size) padded up to HollowPaw with a…shockingly kind dip of his head and polite expression. Shocker- he was never one to be kind or polite, at least to those of his equal rank. “May I?” he asked, nodding his head to the spot next to her.

A powerful roar prompted the medicine cat to lift her head and exit the dimly lit den she called hers; her eyes landed on Miss Grandmama, as powerful and commanding as ever, watching her for a second too long. She noted Silentpaw's presence near the den of herbs; she cast him a quick glance, then padded forth towards the meeting, silently joining her sister's side.
