Lightningstrike padded over. "Hi!" Without waiting for an invitation, she leaped up onto the rock and sat down next to the other shecat. "Did you see the challenge between Owlthroat and Rookfire the other day?" She didn't have very many conversation starters, so recent events were always good. "What's that?" she asked, flicking her tail at the daisy pattern.

PumpkinToes dozing softly from the lack of sleep the night before jumped in response to the unfamiliar shecats greeting, her fur puffed to its maximum height. "YOU WON'T GET ME YET YO-....you?"

she froze mid yowl after blinking the sleep out of her eyes finding her classmate siting there. With a soft shake she gathered herself. "ah you, my apologies i thought you were a outsider come to easedrop on my midday meditation. And these" she turned her head back to the daisy ring, "this is my latest creation, daisy's are pure and safe so this Design is to keep outsider ears away from the clan, i have several others set up in different places around the clan territory" she licks some of her fur down before continuing. "due to the owl problem recently i haven't been able to update and keep the daisy's arranged properly, i know it was the outsiders" she hissed and lashed her tail "they bribed those owls to keep us in the camp, they even took our medicine cat! A coincidence i think not!"

Lightningstrike had never thought of it that way before. That did seem like something outsiders would do. The younger she tilted her head, considering. "Maybe..." She sat bolt upright. "What if Riverclan did it?" She paused, trying to get her thoughts in order. "Because Rookfire was in Riverclan, right? And now he's an Enforcer! How do we know he isn't a spy? And he used to be a medicine cat!" Lightningstrike was pacing now as she talked, her thought going faster then her mouth could keep up. "He must be plotting something with the owls! And he probably bribed that other Enforcer, the one who stepped down. She's in on it too!" She turned to Pumpkintoes, looking for her reaction to all this.

PumpkinToes tilted her head slightly a strange look in her eyes as she watched Lightningstrikes pacing, her tail flicking gently beside her as she slowly nodded. "maybe, him being refused from becoming medicine cat could mean many things, starclan sees things we do not..." she trails off in thought, her fluffy tail giving off her anger at the possibilities of a spy in the clan.

She turns towards the other cat and flicks her tail encouragingly. "hmm we should give this more thought, if they are in negotiations with Riverclan we should gather evidence and keep the clans defenses up" she stretches and jumps down from the ledge, looking back at Lightningstrike. "i shall go and gather more daisy's we need to limit the eyes and ears in the clan.. you can come with if you like?" she awkwardly asks, her paws clawing the dirt and pebbles beneath her.

Lightningstrike nodded solemnly. "Yes, Starclan are very smart. They have their reasons for everything." Evidence! Yes, evidence is important. After all, they couldn't just go to Dawnstar with a theory. "Ok. Can you show me how they work?" She descended like a river of fur, landing lightly on her paws. "How would we begin gathering evidence?" she mewed, half to herself. "Probably meeting Riverclan at the border..."

PumpkinToes gave a half purr at the shecats enthusiasm, nodding and setting off for a particularly dense patch of white petal flowers. "We could catch him in a meeting with his riverclan or outsider allies, but that would still be our word against his, no we need the trusted eyes of a respected cat" she nodded and turned towards Lightningstrike as they drew near, flicking her tail towards the base of a pine. "i put a very nice collection of webs there, we can make a few bundles of dasiy charms near the important places of the clan, leaders den, medicine cat den, hmm maybe the warriors?" she kept mumbling to herself head deep in a flowery patch.

(I'm so sorry that must've been double spamming omg XD i should note PumpkinToes is very trusting of her classmates but is also super suspicious to anyone outside of the clan, a silly little cat who makes weird flower charms, also apologies if I don't respond right away from here forward I have irl stuff and sleep soon)

Sootstorm - ShadowClan Warrior

Sootstorm padded through the territory towards Evergreen Grotto, her pawsteps soft as the patrol walked over trampled grass. Her ears flicked as they arrived at the landmark, and the patrol leader slowed to a stop. ''Yarrow, celandine, and elder flowers are what we are looking for,'' she mewed, her emerald hues flicking over in the direction of the apprentices. ''Meet me back here by the entrance to the grotto once you've finished collecting the herbs.''

With a dip of her head to her patrolmates, the gray-and-white warrior ducked into the undergrowth in search of the herbs that Sleepysunrise had listed. Yarrow was tall with clusters of white flowers...

Before long, the ShadowClanner came across a patch of yarrow, and Sootstorm bent her head to nip off a couple of the stems, relieved to see that they weren't damaged when she pulled back.

With the yarrow between her jaws (and her nose wrinkling in disgust at the bitter taste), Sootstorm continued her search for celandine and elder flowers. Seeing a long, tall piece of bark, she realized that flowers were blooming from it. Elder flowers. One of the herbs that Sleepysunrise had sent the patrol out for.

Bounding over, the warrior set down her bundle of yarrow and gently nipped at a flower's stem until it fell to the ground, undamaged, beside the yarrow clusters. Picking them up, the ShadowClanner continued her expedition for celandine.

Then we can work on the Rookfire theory," Lightningstrike mewed, grabbing some of the bigger daisies. "Maybe we could set one up outside the nursery? Just in case."

"oh Yes the nursery! we must protect our little kits from the outsiders eyes especially!" PumpkinToes exclaimed, pulling her head out of the daisy's eyes wide, 〔D20=6+2〕 She stepped away from the flower patch, "no good sized daisy's here..." she mutters and turns to look for her hidden webs in the trees hallowed out stump.

Gathering them up she turns to Lightningstrike, "it may be hard to find evidence of the owl bribery, maybe rookfire has killed the owls that were bribed already? hmm thats why i think it was the outsiders and their strange powers! talking to the owls and scheming to take the clan from our territory is something they would do!" her fur bristles at the audacity of those outside the clan, lashing her tail as she sets the webs down, sending pebbles and leaves scattering.

Again, simple.

He vaguely listened to Sootstorm's instructions.
They were obvious, weren't they?
Anyway, once the warrior stopped speaking, Irispaw got to searching.
