Starlingpaw shrugged a bit, rolling his neck with a sigh. "been better, you?" He grunted, that's when Songpaw padded over. Starlings eyes widened and he felt his fur heat up, ears pricked and eyes shifting around before landing on the absolutely stunning she-cat.

Cedarpaw flicked his tail in greeting. He had seen Songpaw around before, but had never talked to her. It was nice to meet his brother's friends. As Starling greeted Song, a knowing smirk found its way to Cedar's face. His brother had a crush!!

Now, being the good brother he was, Cedar schooled his expression and refrained from saying anything. He'd have to ask Starling about it later.

Racconpaw pranced into the clearing ignoring the rain as she sat down near the front looking around she spotted Coldpaw who was already by a monochrome tom who she guessed she’d be working with in the future? Whatever what mattered right now was to find some creepy crawlers pawing at the dirt a worm appeared and she quickly plucked it from the ground hoping one of her siblings would be here soon so she could show off her new treasure

Songpaw purred in response to Starlingpaw and Cedarpaw's greeting. She was pleased to see that Starlingpaw's greeting was a little warmer than before, at least he wasn't annoyed with her pestering him all the time. She looked at Cedarpaw as he was introduced to her formally, nodding in greeting. "Hello, Cedarpaw!" She mewed happily. "I should introduce you to my brothers too sometime!" She purred. Hmm...maybe she'd invite Starlingpaw to the next family function?

Starlingpaw smacked Cedarpaw in the back of the head as his brother tried to hold back a snicker, grumbling. "I know what you're thinking stupid" He sneered, rolling his eyes with a harrumph before turning his gaze to Songpaw.

"Hey maybe- I'd like ta meet 'em." He nodded, giving Cedarpaw another glare.

The light pitter patter of rain kept the lieutenant inside the warriors' den, gaze out towards the clearing as she watched younger cats risk the wetness of the day for the freedom it entailed. At her age, the patched she-cat preferred to stay inside and not risk illness. Especially not with the twolegs about. But of course, younger felines had a heartier constitution. They were less vulnerable to the elements than she was slowly becoming at her ever more advanced age. She would no doubt pointedly glare at any cat who dared suggest she was getting on in moons, of course, but even that modicum of pride did not lead to putting herself pointlessly in harm's way when she might be needed in the near future.

Mismatched ears perked up as she heard the call of their wise leader for a clan meeting, and she sent a silent prayer of gratitude to StarClan for her mercy at allowing them to stay within the cover of their dens. Her coat, still in full leaf-bare's thickness, retained water far too well for her to wish to contend with. Settling down comfortably by the entrance, Dapplebreeze's blue eyes gazed towards the Galewood's branch where the leader perched, sympathetic to her current condition. As if the stresses WindClan had been enduring since newleaf had dawned upon them weren't enough, she was forced to update them on the news of their territory - and who knew what else - while being far too high above the ground in such inconvenient weather. Perhaps she should go join her after the meeting and share tongues with her? Twilightstar had a clan to lead, after all. It would do them no good for her to grow ill over rain as light as this.
