Once again, Seapaw found himself approaching the nursery to clean up a bit. It was something to do, whilst he was cooped up in camp. As he gathered the moss, a thought came into his mind - being cooped up as an apprentice certainly sucked - so, was it the same for queens? He really needed to see the rest of the territory for his training, he knew that - so perhaps he should ask someone for a tour? "No worries if no one's free," he announced, as he scooped some moss together, "but I was wondering if anyone wanted to go out for a stroll? I need to finish my territory tour, haha.." He laughed a little awkwardly at the end. "I need to see, uh... Everything except Lionsbeach, Seagrass fields and the ShadowClan border? - Oh! And I've seen the WindClan border once but I don't remember it too much..."

@Luminous
The moss between her paws had throughout the past two days been squished into a flat matt underneath her and her kits' paws, and Asterfly found herself pawing at and re-doing the nest over and over again. A few times she had checked on her kits to see whether they wanted another story or to have the concept of birds explained to them for the fifth time, but even they seemed to become more independent lately. They were already four months old after all, and while Afterfly was excited to return to her more active lifestyle, it was crazy that it had already been a whole season. Now spring was already breaking out around the camp, with ice melting and leaves reappearing on the bushes and branches...
As if reading a thought that hadn't even formed yet, Seapaw poked his head into the nursery. "You've come at the perfect time, dear, I was hoping for an excuse to go for a walk," she mewed and stretched as she got up. "Let's see, everything except Lionsbeach, Seagrass fields and the ShadowClan border... " Had she forgotten some part of their territory? No, that was it. "Only leaves Thunderclan and that Windclan border, doesnt it."
Well, Thunderclan border, at least. Falling into familiar habits the queen guided Seapaw through the undergrowth and around the willows, showing him the shortest way to the border while also mapping out the nearby landmarks to strengthen his mental map of their territory. "Here we are, Smallpines, I'm sure you can understand the namesake-" she nodded towards the young trees on the other side of the river. "N' their ever-so-beloved forgets starts there - 'ts all pine, oak, elm, and so on and so forth, not like our willows." She hid her displeasure at the thought of living in a territory unlike her own, that was for the apprentice to form an opinion on. "Any questions come to mind?"

Yay! His plan had worked, and Asterfly was gonna show him round - truth be told, he hadn't met her before, but she seemed nice. They discarded their moss as they entered the territory, then padded along till they reached Smallpines - this place was nice, though they preferred their own side of the border. Any questions? Hm... They scanned their brain, trying to think of something to ask, but the border seemed straight forward enough. "Nope - nothing from me." He shook his head.
A neat smile graced the queens face as she turned with a swish of her tail. "Splendid." But she wasn't quite done for today. The air was fresh, birds chirped around her, the grass under her paws was soft, and Seapaw was pleasant company, all things considered. Besides, it had been a good while since she had been on anything even remotely like a patrol, and even if they had never been her favorite duty, it was nice to feel... useful.No, don't be silly. She had things to do in the nursery that were important too, if quiet. "You said it had been a while since you'd seen the Windclan border? Let's refresh your memory, shall we?"
"Sedgewater Valley, as you likely recall." The dainty molly didn't feel the need to explain the border too much, giving space for the apprentice to ask questions as well as refamiliarzie himself with the border as she padded along, here and there pointing out the important places to mark, all while reminding him of how dangerous the water could be when flooding during these times of year.

They nodded their head, trying to pay more attention than they did last time they were here. "It's nice here," he commented, pawing at some of the soft grass. Perhaps it was the weather, but it seemed notably more pleasant than his last visit. Perhaps they'd been busy worrying about other clans and danger and whatnot. They did like how the river divided the border - leaving next to no chance of WindClan confrontation. "I guess that River isn't great for swimming, huh?" They peered over at it, a little disappointed that they couldn't take a dip. But they'd rather miss out on swimming than get carried away in the torrent.
She gave a hum of agreement at Seapaw's comment but her blue eyes tinted darker when the river was mentioned again. The queen gave the waters another glance. They were calm, inviting. For now. But further ahead, the torrent picked up speed where soft hills shifted into cliffs. "It's unlikely you would lose footing if you've swam a lot before-" her fluffy tailed swished over the waters- "but if you go too far the current can fairly easily pick you up." She searched her memory for accidents that had happened here, but teaching caution with tales of mistakes was perhaps a thing for kits, not older apprentices.
Asterfly slowed down as they'd reached the end of the border and she glanced over her shoulder at the apprentice. "I think we're all done - any questions about this one, dear?"
@sleepyyjax Up to you whether you reply/contiune or not

Seapaw
he/they - 11 moons - Go with the flow
They nodded along - ah okay, that made sense. So, if they needed to get in the river for some reason, they'd be fine - they just needed to be careful not to wade too far. "Nope, no more questions from me." They shook their head. This had been a nice outing - it especially nice to get away from camp for a bit and go for a relaxing walk. "Thanks Asterfly!"
[Thanks so much for this, really appreciate it !! : D ]
