Starrymist walked out of the warriors den, he stretched and his muscles rippled under his white fur, his amber eyes looked around camp, he climbed a nearby tree and lay on a low hanging branch, his tail hanging over the side lazily as the sun soaked his fur

"Low on self-esteem so you run on gasoline"
He Walked into the clearing with a bored expression.
Damn.. what day is it again? stupid alters-.
He grumbled and glanced around before turning his head to see a lone cat,
laying up against the tree. he raised an eyebrow and looked the cat up and down with a judging eye.
"Haven't met you yet-, or at least.. this half hasn't-. what's your name?"
Starrymist looked at tom "Hello sir" he said with a respectful nod and continued "I'm Starrymist" he said with a slight smile formed on his black face "i keep to myself a lot, I like to observe and watch rather then speak and be the center of attention" he said his tail flicked lazily
She nodded along as Cottonpaw spoke, then went to take a bite of the leg. She hadn't even noticed Cottonpaw's reaction to the meal. Ehh... Eurgh. Slimy. Still kind of yummy, though. She could look past the weird texture. "More for me then!" She chirped before taking the leg Cottonpaw had given to Strawberrypaw. Hm. She much preferred a rabbit, but this was nice too.
Cottonpaw
he/him | Windclan Apprentice | 12 moons The Collector - Lucky Duck T3 The Stowaway Child
Cottonpaw found himself relaxing a little further as he discovered Shrikepaw didn’t mind the meal. That put him at ease, it meant he wouldn’t have to find some cat to feed it to.
”W.w.w.what’s it l.l.like having T.t.t.twistar as your mama Shrike?” He didn’t know where the question came from, but it was something he found himself curious to know. Cottonpaw had something of an admiration for their leader, ever since he was a little kit. Maybe it was because she had scooped him up and brought him to Windclan in the first place, or maybe it was just the yearning to know more about her legends.
He hoped Strawberrypaw wouldn’t be too bored by his questioning, he couldn’t always figure out if she liked him or not or was just nonchalant. Despite Cottonpaw considering her a friend.
Cottonpaw's friend was... odd. (Then again, the same could be said about her.) Strawberrypaw makes a noncommital noise, stopping for a moment to stare at the younger apprentice as she nibbled at the very unappealing-looking toad. For the most part, the peach and white apprentice had already turned back to minding her own business. Up until her ears picked up on Cottonpaw's question, and her curiousity was pricked once more.
Intent blue eyes turn once more on the conversation, studying Shrikepaw with an unwavering intensity that she didn't even realize she was directing. This apprentice was one of Twilightstar's kits? Strawberrypaw hadn't known that.
Vinesmoke

He/Him
Vinesmoke scoffed at what the apprentice said this cat reminded him of wildfire thiugh wildfire was much nicer. Tree climbing in his mind was more intriguing than normal training though he spent most of his time underground he had mud caked on him he wasn’t as messy as crowtooth though he definitely had the tunneler look “Tree climbings very important what if a dog ambushes you alone or you need to get a better view..not to mention birds nest or bee hives” he inwardly laughed at the memory of him when he was an apprentice climbing a tree to get honey it had been last green leaf but it felt so long ago “Though if you really think it’s useless I can show you how to tunnel or at least saftey stuff”
Lifting his chin high, yet another scoff escaped him at Vinesmoke's words. "I'd just chase off the dog, duh." The apprentice rolled his eyes. Isn't that the most obvious answer?
When Vinesmoke offered to teach him tunneling, Tallpaw's ears perked slightly in interest. Normally, he would be against something that honestly seemed so...mundane- but he had the sense to realize it may be possible to use them for ambush in the future...Yeah, one day, when he was leading WindClan, he would ambush all the other Clans and show them WindClan's might with the tunnels! They'd never know what hit them. He snickered to himself for a moment before looking back at the warrior. "Fine. Show me."
The deputy winced at the news, ears drooping as he murmured "Ya aint the first wit' that story an' aint gonna be the last. That ya actually made it home is cause for celebration." It was now 5 confirmed cats taken by the twolegs and far more suspected. And despite the numbers Windclan was no closer to finding a way to prevent this from occurring again or figuring out how to get the missing cats back.
A horrible thought.
"Well go wash the twoleg stink offa yer pelt an' if ya feel healthy yer free ta go back ta duties. Also, pass on any information about the twolegs ya can, Im hopin' if the clan knows more about 'em they'll be less dangerous to us." Seriously Crowtooth preyed Ivymoon rolled in some heather or moss the twoleg smell was thick and awful, he did not envy her.
Back to Blizzardnose. "Anythin' else ta report? I do wanna know where ya found 'er."
Blizzardnose nodded respectfully. I was at Windy Hills, enjoying the beautiful new leaf, and I found him. he replied. Turning to Ivymoon, he said, I'm glad your back Ivymoon.
Vinesmoke's blue eyes flashed with a hint of irritation as Tallpaw scoffed. He wasn't the apprentice's mentor, and honestly, he didn’t have to offer his help. But he also didn’t want to be the kind of cat who let a good opportunity to teach slip by. He exhaled sharply, keeping his voice steady. “You know,” Vinesmoke said, forcing a calmness into his tone, “I'm not your mentor, but I’ll still show you if you want to learn. Tunneling isn’t just for ambushes—it’s a skill that requires focus. I’m not here to babysit you through it.” He looked at Tallpaw with a level gaze. “If you’re serious about it, then fine. But drop the attitude. It’s not going to help you when you're underground.” Vinesmoke flicked his tail toward the ground, a small hint of warmth in his eyes despite the coolness of his words. “I’ll show you, but you need to be focused. Got it?"
Happy happy happy. A clanmate was back in rare good news for once and- wait hold on. Yeah no he was no longer happy. The deputys face contorted into one of anger as he rounded on Blizzardnose with the new information.
"Im sorry I better hope Im hearnin' ya wrong 'cuz are ya sayin' ya were out in the territory, alone, an' in the windy hills ta boot?! Im glad ya got Ivymoon but why would ya make such a STUPID decision goin' against Twilightstars express orders! She made it clear last meetin' an' even earlier that wit' the traps all over the territory maimin' cats an causin' them to go missin' NO ONE was ta go out alone!
The then ta the windy hills o' all places?! Yanno, the location where the twolegs huntin' us ACTIVELY ARE?! Ivymoon has an' excuse, she was tryin' ta git home an' passin' through the border there but YOU?!?!
Youve no excuse so what do ya 'ave ta say fer yerself an' this blatant foolish rulebreakin'."
This couldve ended with death and that it didnt made it not much better. Blizzardnose was either stupid, defiant, or deaf and none of the options was good.
Blizzardnose nodded respectfully. I was at Windy Hills, enjoying the beautiful new leaf, and I found him. he replied. Turning to Ivymoon, he said, I'm glad your back Ivymoon.
Ivymoon dipped his head. "It surely is a relief to be back home." His claws worked into the dirt as he relished in the feeling of his territory. "Well, I will be off, now. Thank you Blizzardnose." He dipped his head at the tom before turning away and padding toward the edge of the clearing.
