Hmm, I'm not sure. Why shouldn't the muscle heal correctly? This is kinda unusual so I would suggest having the muscle torn apart for a temporary period of time, while the arthritis can have many causes and may stay for longer.
The cat may walk weirdly, may generically not run, and have the articulation sore and painful. He should be frequently checked up by the med cat and rest for the whole period.

I'm not very good with the English dictionary, so I would kindly suggest you that you research the argument online to get a view on more words about the topic

Heya! I was wondering how long kits would be able to survive pre-birth if their mother was starving to death? Would they make it 3 weeks on minimal amounts of food, ex. 1/2 of the recommended amount if right after that the mother would gradually work up to the normal quantity? @Wingnettle (this is such a smart idea to have this thread btw!)

Do you mean 3 weeks in her womb? In that case, I would say they have a good chance because the mother's needs increase gradually during the pregnancy, so at first she doesn't really need that much more. However, she would have to increase the amount of food quick enough!

Honestly there are like 4762829 diseases that can kill a cat in very little time, there's really no need to choose one in particular in this case! Just go with the mom having no symptoms and dying suddenly! (Maybe in her sleep, if you'd like!)
