'There he goes again, being a suck up.' Pigeonkit tail tip twitched annoyance. "See. Now we can play without him. Because he's sooo busy." The Tom rolled his eyes and turned to his father again. "C'mon let's just start already! I'm getting cold and bored." he complained.

The white she-cat padded into the clearing, her eyes scanning around, looking for a shady spot to lay down. She quickly found one near the warriors' den, and padded over quickly, sitting down. Her eyes roamed around, watching the younger ones carefully.

"The plan!" Honeyapple echoed with a huge grin. "The plan is..." She looked slightly confused. "Um, the plan..."

Well, stars dammit. She didn't have one. "The plan is to come up with a plan!" She said finally, bounding around her brother happily.

"We weren't making him sit out." Lichenkit quickly clarified. The dilute calico's tail flicked back and forth anxiously. They were just getting to have fun, and didn't want to risk it being ruined by Pigeonkit becoming grumpy again. They let out a quiet sigh, wishing that the everyone could be peaceful and happy. A quick glance was thrown to Pigeonkit, hoping that their brother would back them up. "We just don't wanna force him to play with us..."

Whisperingwaters emerged from the warriors' den, her long, snake-like, dark blue-gray tail swaying idly behind her. The massive braided tabby gave a yawn, making her way over to the fresh-kill pile. The she-cat grabbed a salmon off the top of it and settled down nearby to begin her meal.

Cascadingrapids was yawning, possibly about to go take another nap.
And then something surprised her.

Tiny claws clung to her pelt, as she whirled around as soon as they disconnected.
She saw... a kit.
Duh.

He hadn't done any damage, at least.
He looked around for whoever put him up to this.
And she spotted...

Caveclaw was watching.
That was who she least expected.
Since when was that one getting a sense of humor?

"Good job kid." Cascadingrapids said as she glanced down at Heronkit "Let Caveclaw know that once your an apprentice, you'll be real good at sneaking."
Really, what this meant, was she was gonna somehow find a way to get the LionHeart back.

Boulderspots looked over at the tom, and noticing their head was down, he figured they were sad for some reason and decided to 'cheer them up.' "Well, let's hope you get one that likes you." He purred. "I can think of a few awkward instances of apprentices not liking their mentors at first."
