ThunderClan Apprentice ♕ She/Her ♕ 7+ moons "I'm sorry, don't leave me, I want you here with me"
Sagepaw sprinted from her nest when she heard Bumblestar call her name. Yeah...? She had never been called up by her leader before except for at her ceremony. This must be a very special task. Her gaze shifted as she saw Blackbirdwing. His tail drooping, eyes filled with anger and sadness and... tears. She had never seen her mentor cry before. Did he need cheering up? The she-cat squirmed uneasily, her jaw hanging open. She trusted her mentor and respected him. He was an amazing cat. So what was going on? Was he in trouble? Was she in trouble? But why...? She hadn't done anything wrong, had she? Uhm... I'm sorry if... if I did something bad. She murmured, shrinking back in her pelt.

(Just an OOC notice! This boy's name will be changed sooner or later, but I'm keeping his current one until the newer name I've chosen for him is approved. Until then uhhhh, sit tight)
It was a close call.
The plague, everything. It was far too familiar. He could fend against physical threats with ease, but something air born? He couldn't fight that, no amount of punching could cure a sickness. Despite the snow that clung to his fur, the frost around his eyes, he stood stagnent at the warriors den entrance.
He was enough out of the way to allow anycat to pass through, but still close enough to be noticed. He made sure to give every passing cat a stern glance, as though trying to figure out whether or not they were sick by just looking at them. It wasn't working, obviously, but it made him feel better.
All of this, it was his responsibility, even if it wasn't. Bloodrush frowned as his gaze continued to scan the clearing, paying no mind to the silence that plagued the trees. Nothing with sense would be out in this weather. Bloodrush didn't have sense unfortunately.
Sweetsunrise was watching Bloodrush from nearby, her orangish-amber eyes narrowed as she tried to assess why he was acting like he was.
He was just...looking around, like he was suspicious of his Clanmates. Why? The dark ginger pseudo-tabby got to her paws and bounded over. ''Hi! The name's Sweetsunrise! Are you...all right?''

Fuzzy shapes suddenly materialized into a cat. A cat with bright eyes and a sudden interest in him, for some reason. He was working, couldn't she see that? He never took kindly to those who interrupted his train of thought. His awareness was now dulled by a voice that was pitched in curiosity, his ears flicking in response.
Faintly marbled marbled ears turned towards Sweetsunrise, his frown deepening. Was he alright? Of course he was. This was what he was meant to do, what he was supposed to do. If he didn't keep watch of everything, something could happen, and he wouldn't be ready. Bloodrush never liked leaving things up to chance, especially when it came to his home.
Soon enough, his blue eyed met hers for a moment before he responded, voice gruff and agitated. "I'm fine." Bloodrush grumbled, his stub tail giving a quick lash for emphasis. "Just doing what I always do. And you're distracting me."
''Well, then, excuse me,'' Sweetsunrise scoffed, sitting back on her haunches. The she-cat gingerly lifted a forepaw and swiped her tongue across it before running it over one of her ears. ''You sit here every day, supposedly keeping watch over your Clanmates who---in my opinion---would rather go about their day than have a cat staring at them on a day-to-day basis.'' The warrior tipped her head to the side. ''I'm sorry if I find it a little...odd.''
