Her eyes narrowed as she watched Mosspaw, her tail tip flicking to-and-fro anxiously. ''Now that I've seen ya swim, try ta catch a fish.''

Mosspaw hated the cold water. As soon as she got the chance to get out, she shook hard.


"Ok. Fishing." she said, crouching on the bank.

''Don't let your shadow fall on the water,'' Primroseadder warned, her tail swaying. ''It'll scare away the fish.''

Mosspaw backed up. "Like this?" she asked.

Primroseadder nodded, wrapping her tail around her paws. ''Now, try ta catch a fish.''

Mosspaw held her paw over the water, ready to swipe if a fish swam under.

Primroseadder grinned whenever she saw the fish that Mosspaw had hooked out of the water. ''Bite its spine, 'n quickly,'' she purred, padding over. ''If ya don't, ya might lose ya grip 'n it'll flop on the bank 'til it's back in the water.''

Mosspaw nipped the spine, finishing it off. "This good?" she asked.

''Excellent,'' Primroseadder grinned, nuzzling Mosspaw's head. ''Well done, Mossy. I'm proud ta tell ya that ya passed.''

Mosspaw jumped, bouncing up and down. "YAY!!!!!" she screeched.
