So many plant puns its unbeleafable, but none for yarrow...

Blackberrybat
|| He/him | ShC Warrior | Moons: 12 || "Well, that was quite the meeting I would say, but for now, let's just focus on some training!" The warrior led his apprentice from the camp and out into the territory. They should probably do a territory tour because that was standard and Blackberrybat had little to no idea where else to start, but maybe Yarrowpaw would have a different idea. Going a little out of normal order would probably be fine anyways. "Anyways! I was thinking that we could do a territory tour. Hit the borders and then some of the clan's landmarks? But we could do something else first if you would prefer that?" He asked with a grin, eyes moving from tree to tree.

Re: So many plant puns its unbeleafable, but none for yarrow...
Yarrowpaw's attention snapped over to her new mentor eagerly at the word "training". She didn't really care about cats getting in trouble or whatever, that wasn't her problem. She nodded eagerly and bounced to her paws, following Blackberrybat out of the camp. Hmmm a tour didn't seem very exciting. But it did seem like the basic start. "A tour sounds fine." She answered with a flick of her ear. It was fine. Not glorious, nothing to brag about. "Think we could throw in some...hunting or something? Ya know, since we'll already be out?" She suggested. Hunting. Now there's something she could brag about when they got back.

Blackberrybat
@Luna16
Blackberrybat nodded, "That should be no issue, we'll run through the main spots and borders and then hunt on our way back!" The warrior explained excitedly as he started to lead the apprentice towards the first landmark of many they would see. Starting with his favorite, Blackberrybat led them through the Dawning Woods, motioning to the world around him with dramatic fashion with his tail, "This is the Dawning Woods! It's one of my favorite parts of the territory because it reminds me of Icy Heartlands of the old territory. It's your standard spooky forest, great for hunting and finding herbs!" He paused and allowed time for Yarrowpaw to ask any questions or have any comments before taking them to the next point of the tour.
As the solid ground started to turn more and more mushy, and the warriors grimaced at the sensation, he figured they were in the next section of the territory, one he liked significantly less but honestly still doesn't really mind too much. "Now all this squishy mud and tall grass marks where the Dark water Mire starts. It's basically just foggier, less dense Dawning Woods. Though there are frogs here when its gets warmer and frogs are truly the underrated prey ever!" He had a personally preference towards frogs, perhaps because of his mother's influence as it was her favorite type of prey as well, but Blackberrybat liked to think they were just that good. Once more he waited for Yarrowpaw before leading them to the next landmark in Shadowclan territory.
"And lastly the evergreen grotto! I don't come here very often, but from what I hear from my mom she says its a good place for herbs and stuff." The warrior spoke as he left Yarrowpaw to in front of where the ground starts to dip for the actual grotto. He stares down into it, before flicking his gaze to the apprentice and finished the landmark part of the tour with a grin, "That's it for landmarks, and you'll notice that we have a LOT of forests that make up our territory which is why we focus on utilizing them for ambushes and stealth over any loud kind of ruckus you'll get in the other clans. Any questions before we make our way to the borders?"

Re: So many plant puns its unbeleafable, but none for yarrow...
 Yars nodded at Blackberrybat, that sounded fair enough. She followed her mentor towards the Dawning Woods, tilting her head to the side when he mentioned to "old" territory. "The old territory? Whaddya mean?" She had never heard of this before. She hadn't really been the type of kit to sit around listening to elder's stories...but it sounds there's some interesting stuff she might've picked up if she had been.
She was...far less impressed by this next part of the territory. Yars lifted a paw when it sank into a muddy, mushy...ugh. Gross. She shook her paw with a grimace on her face, turning to Blackberrybat to hear his explanation. Ah, so this is the mire. Her hazel gaze flickered around the land, and she couldn't help make a face. "Well...at least it has prey in all seasons." She grumbled, lifting her other forepaw to shake it clean. "Although, are the frogs really worth tha trouble?" She looked at her mentor, clearly displeased with this part of the territory. Not because of the frogs, she liked them just fine. But stars above this place was damp and gross even in leaf-bare. She couldn't imagine how awful it would be when it was warmer.
Yars was relieved when they went somewhere else. Huh. The grotto eh? The calico she-cat glanced around as Blackberrybat led her to where the actual grotto began. Blinking down into the gloom. Herbs grow...down there? She leaned over slightly, her nose twitching as she took in the scents. "What about prey?" She asked, turning and blinking up at Blackberrybat. She sat up again, not wanting to accidentally lean too far forward and slide in. At least it isn't so squishy here. She noted, lifting and pressing her paw into the ground below her.
