She turned her head towards Dawnstar as she began to speak again. So Squirrelrise and her are to distract the adult owls. That shouldn't be too hard. Tinywolf gave the leader a quick nod to show that she understood. "No questions." she added once she had finish speaking. The dark grey tabby glance back over to the large Tom with a smile. "'Course! Foghaze and Doeflame will get it before it can touch me." she announced with a proud flick of her tail. Tinywolf flicked Aldersnarl over the ear. "You just make sure you two are able to take that other owl down."

The smaller she-cat made her way over to Squirrelrise. She knew the she-cat from their patrol, but otherwise she was unfamiliar. Seeing as they were both doing the same job, what better time is it to become familiar. "Hey ya, Squirrelrise!" Tinywolf meowed with a smile. Maybe she should be more serious, becausing of what she needs to do but that just isn't her style. "We'll have to run like a bunch of Windclan cat's." the she-cat joked.

Her ear pricked hearing the other two warriors who were handling her owl chatting. "Careful out there." The dark grey tabby she-cat said before trotting over to the other two cats. She narrowed her eyes at the sight of Foghaze. She hadn't really thought about it when she heard his name, but she didn't forgive him for his rudeness. Instead, Tinywolf just turned towards Doeflame. "I'm ready." she said with determination. She really need to give more thought into her owl luring strategy right now..

[I will be giving you guys some time to discuss how everyone wants to tackle stuff. However, if you're done discussing in IC, those playing bait, mention me to let me know. I'll be giving you all an event starter to play off of and then it's up to you guys to do whatever you want with owls. Dawnstar's going to be sitting back and observing, she'll jump in if she believes the cats need help but with how many cats are involved I would like to think there are more than enough cats to cover each other's backs.]

This would be an interesting group of apprentices, many of them had disabilities that would be looked down upon in the clan. This was their chance to prove to her that they were stronger than they looked. Regardless, she'd certainly be keeping a close eye on them.

The leader found she didn't need to look for any replacements and was pleased to see that they were discussing a plan of attack. Dawnstar was used to having to tell everyone what to do and when to do it and she did sometimes forget that these cats could think for themselves, some better than others.

As Sleepysunrise joins her with a bundle of herbs in her maw, she waves her tail to the gathered cats. "Finish your discussion as we walk to the Mourning Ruins." Dawnstar orders, her tail twitching when saw that it seems they have lost sight of Rockjaw. How irksome. She just saw the tom where did he get to? Dawnstar might have to rethink his position if he could not be reliable on his first job.

"I'll take Rockjaw's bundle." She grunted displeased, grabbing the few herbs her granddaughter had brought out. She ordered her clanmates to follow her out with a commanding lash of her tail as her maw was full.

Was he being serious?! He gets the honour of working alongside her as an aid, but disappears when he's needed? Sleepysunrise was fuming deep inside, the only evidence of her anger being her dead silence and hard stare as she looked ahead at the little bundles. Did he expect her to carry them alone or what? She wasn't exactly one to complain, but she was very well aware carrying both bundles would be a hassle on her own. Her brows creased, mind muddled with what she had to do about this. Punish him? Demote him? (Did she even have that power?). Her tail flicked, the expression on her face must frankly have gotten a little silly as she looked a little pressed.

That is, until the familiar tone of her grandmother reached her ears and her expression immediately fell back into its usual stoic calm, any stiffness leaving her joints and gaze falling on the bigger feline. She regarded her for a moment in silence before speaking;
"Thank you."
She mew with a light dip of her head. If only cats could be more like Miss Grandmama - smart and reliable. Despite her (internal) agitation regarding Rockjaw's failure to remain near, Sleepysunrise was an image of calm neutrality, seated by her grandmother's side until she was ordered to follow the leader out, her mouth now filled with her own bundle of herbs.

The bengal tome could admit that of all siblings he wasnt as close to Cinderpaw as others so frankly he had no clue if this quietness, the stuttering hesitation was normal or if he'd done something wrong. With no judgement, just concern and a bit of confusion the tom leaned in to make sure he caught the words, head slightly cocking in a silent question. It was concern, not pity Bleedingpaw never had room to pity another cat, but he let it go unless his older sister decided to breach the subject.


Ambush it- Hey! Ears flattening as the pretty blond now glared at Cloverpaw he scoffed at the smaller apprentice, mighty displeased at this runt daring to condescend to his sister. "If your ears dont work well enough to hear her its your problem. Its not like youre paying attention anyways, everyone can see it." What idiot was drafted for such an important task and then didnt even listen to the plan when lives were on the line? How arrogant. Well if Cloverpaw wanted none of the glory because he was going loose cannon it was his own fault.


"Come on Cinderpaw, lets get going."
He usually would ask permission, silently or otherwise, before using someone as a cane while he walked but to him this was a way of showing solidarity with Cinderpaw, sticking to the side of her missing leg so she could lean on him in turn while he occasionally used to to prevent himself from wobbling over. Slow movers club, no Cloverpaws allowed.


As they walked though he whispered to her. "What type of hide do you think youre gonna use?" Bush, log, it didnt matter but it'd help him plan. "If the owl is on my tail when we close in Ill probably end up striking its wings to knock it off balance, Mistlewhisker taught me how. Ill aim it to you so you can grab it while its still not righted!" If Cinderpaw could snipe the kill before stinky Cloverpaw and his dumb plan then it'd be what he deserved.

why the hell was he getting a rude remark from bleedingpaw from saying a simple statement? not his fault the apprentice spoke quietly and the apprentice's tattered ears couldn't pick up what they were saying. cloverpaw scoffed. but bleedingpaw's next words were enough to make them snarl. "i. did. nothing," he hissed, flexing his claws. "for. the. record. i. am. paying. attention," they growled to the younger cat, lashing their long tail.

they followed behind bleedingpaw and cloverpaw, stalking closer to the two once bleedingpaw started to whisper. they swear they just wanted to piss them off, and it was working. "i. can. pin. down. not. big. cat.... but cinderpaw. can. finish it, if i... can keep it. pinned. will. need. help," they stated slowly, half-blind green eyes dancing between the two cats. if bleedingpaw can topple it off balance, and cloverpaw can pin it down, then cinderpaw could possibly finish the owl off. seemed like a solid plan to the elderly apprentice.

Cloverpaw's order for her to speak up is met with a slight flinch followed quickly by a withering glare. She was only speaking at all in order to be helpful to this cat she wasn't sure knew nor could see when she was using sign language. Part of her really wants to be petty and just... stop using her voice altogether now, but that's a difficult thing to do when walking, so she chooses instead to simply ignore the other apprentice, allowing Bleedingpaw to lean into her even if she does stiffen slightly with the contact at first. Him sticking up for her was nice, she didn't really expect it, but she would remember it for the future.

"Bush, probably," she says after thinking for a moment. Might be easier to see what's going on if she's not behind a completely solid object. Cloverpaw butts in, and maybe Cinderpaw's imagining it, but his tone is almost imperious, and, again, maybe it's selfish to think this, but his stilted speech sends a jolt of insecurity through her. After all, her own speech is often stilted like that too. Still, she won't say no to the killing blow. She nods, only half in response to Cloverpaw, her attention mostly on Bleeding.

"I.. can do that.." she answers, clearing her throat after to try and mitigate the scratching even this small amount of speech is causing.

Fishpaw looked at the rest of her group " Im Ready Fishpaw meowed She hoped this would all go smoothly and none of her classmates would get hurt and that fishpaw would be good bait when the owl tried to go after her, And she hoped that the owls would not be the end of her Cause that's all she needed was to die before becoming a warrior.

Fishpaw turned away from her group and toward the exit ready to follow the older cats She can do this, she can and will.

the russet molly eyes shift to aldersnarl and blackpine. oops.. had she not noticed them approach? anywho, she simply offers a nod at blackpine's words, not trusting herself to speak just quite yet. she likes to think she's buried her concern well, body language wise, but she's sure her voice would waver. the decapitation comment from aldersnarl earns him a minute long stare before she takes a deep breath. hhhh. she's fine. yup, totally fine.

squirrelrise offers a small dip of her head as tinywolf approaches her. the warrior seems much less nervous than she is, and the molly wonders if tinywolf is exceptionally skilled at hiding her worry about the situation, or if she just isn't too concerned about it all. either way, the joke fails to make squirrel crack even the tiniest smile and she simply let's out a forced, quiet chuckle. she feels more nervous about this than the raid-- maybe because cats couldn't carry you way up high in the sky like an owl could.

as dawnstar signals the groups to follow her out of the camp, her attention shifts back to the other two warriors as she begins padding. blackpine was bigger .. noting that, she speaks up. "it...it would probably.. be - be..best to..hide in a bush or ..behind a tree nearby. that i can..run..to. blackpine can.. pin the owl down after..grabbing you guys get its wings when it sw-swoops down.... or try - try..to. aldersn..snarl, you sh-should ..be able to go for the..the kill once he has..it pinned down."

A flick of their tail and they followed after the group though they sadly stuck to staying by Fishpaw and Muddypaw. They would prefer if they had a well thought out plan rather than just casual making sure they got certain lessons. "Best bet, is to have someone pin down once Fishpaw lures it to a good spot. And the other one leaves the killing blow on it, preferably someone whos bigger or heavier would be good to pin it down" if they where facing Muddypaw or not wasn't their concern at the moment. One aspect it was good they guess that their lure was taught stealth, but their supposed partner in attacking hadn't answered if they knew any stealth at all, great. "Tell me you at least know how to hide out of sight" they pressed Muddypaw for an answer this time.
