Prey becomes Predator [PIPERPAW'S BATTLE TRAINING]

mentions,, @alec [I figured battle would do best here!]Productivity was a lifeline for Piperpaw. She'd relied on things like this for a long, long time to stay calm as best she could, and learning how to take her anger out on murderous little enemies sounded great, if the need came. She wanted to be the best at it. No, not just that, she wanted to excel beyond the abilities of other apprentices. So, what better way to start than asking the strongest, largest cat Piperpaw saw at that very moment? It seemed like a solid plan. Right now, the brownscale-and-black feline slipped from the apprentices den and swiveled her head. Hmm... No, no, they look dead, no, nope, not that one either. Where were the murderous cats at when you needed the- oh. That would do. The cat her eyes had fallen on was Rookfire, who she recognized as a former medicine cat apprentice and enforcer. That seemed dangerous enough for her standards. Piperpaw looked down, careful to avoid random slips of ice, and wandered over to the gray tomcat. "Rookfire." She greeted. "I need someone who's strong and experienced to teach me how to fight. Can you teach me?" Hey, now, Piper wasn't insulting her mentor or anything, but this cat was a big, scarred, and was an enforcer. So. That sort of outweighed Shiverwing. Besides, a little variety never hurt anyone. "There's nothing wrong with my mentor, of course. But you were an enforcer. That takes quite the strength and effort." She added, not really wanting to throw Shiverwing under the monster.

"Come on, now you're disappointed in me, too?
Well.. it's you and everyone else.
I guess I'm used to it."
