hot potato

- an object (a piece of prey, a funny looking rock, whatever works!) is the hot potato. people with have to post to pass on the hot potato to someone else, the first one with it will be rolled randomly. the last one with the hot potato by a short deadline is eliminated, and this goes until only one person is left, and they win! feel free to do it a bit differently than this :3

I have a few in mind. I might add onto these later.

FOR APPRENTICES & WARRIORS:

Prey Relay: Send out a team of cats to see who can hunt the most in a set time. Each team has a designated hunting area, and the event ends with a tally of prey caught. Bonus points if you catch a specific prey: like a frog or bird.

Obstacle Course: Hornets can set up an obstacle course for apprentices and their mentors to navigate, with tasks like climbing trees, leaping over logs, and squeezing through tight spaces. This one can be good for climbing. Maybe the obsticle course is a massive booby-trapped oak tree. First one to reach the top wins.

Apprentice-Led Patrols: Apprentices take charge of hunting or border patrols for a day under the supervision of warriors. A great way to give apprentices a taste of leadership.

The Sunhigh Sprint: A race from one side of the territory to the other, with checkpoints marked. Pretty straightforward.

Mock Ambush Drill: Hornets gather the apprentices to set up a mock ambush on the warriors den or camp... and it will be a complete surprise to the warriors. Muahaha.

Strength Test: A fun competition to see who can push the heaviest log, lift the largest rock, or drag the biggest branch. Cats take turns showcasing their strength, and the winner earns a title like "Mightiest Paw." or something cool like that.

FOR KITS:

Feather Toss: A playful game where a feather is batted around, and the goal is to keep it in the air for as long as possible. Gives the kits a chance to prove their mobility skills.

Tiny Prey Hunt: The Hornets can hide small objects like feathers, pebbles, or moss scraps around camp, and the kits "hunt" for them. Good chance to warm up their hunting skills.

Kit Races: Simple concept. Just have the kits race around camp. Good way to drain them out. You could put obstacles around the clearing or toss moss balls at them for fun. Could be fun for all ages, actually.

EVENTS FOR THE ENTIRE CLAN:

Scavenger Hunt: Teams compete to find hidden objects (like feathers, shiny stones, or moss bundles) scattered around camp. Maybe roll a dice to see if they find anything at all. Let's say they have to roll higher than a 10 on a D20.

Story Chain: Cats take turns adding to a story, passing it around the group in a big storytelling circle. This one is more just for fun, but it's a good bonding idea.

Friendship Match-Up: Cats are randomly paired and tasked with completing a simple activity together, like hunting, decorating nests, or gathering moss. The goal is to basically start bonds between cats who might not interact often.

Freeze Game: One cat calls out "freeze!" at random times, and everyone else must stop mid-action. In between call-outs, everyone has to be moving. Another just-for-fun game.
