Well, Sunsetgleam knew this was probably one of the first times they've ever heard Hollylynx speak, but they won't exactly agree with her words "I'm sure you'll be a pretty good mentor when the time comes. While being more active would probably get you an apprentice quicker, just because a cat's more quiet or reserved doesn't mean they can't be a mentor, y'know? Some cats aren't talkative but that doesn't mean they should be left out on purpose" they tried to get Hollylynx to be more sure; and it's entirely wrong either, right? Sunsetgleam was sure some quieter cats have been picked as mentors before. As long as the cat isn't like..bloodthirsty or neglectful or anything like that then they personally didn't see a reason why not. Besides, different cat different ways of teaching.

Hollylynx rolled her shoulders at Sunsetgleam’s response, her ice-blue eyes narrowing slightly.

“…thank you,” The warrior’s voice was quiet as she replied, her ears twitching. “Even if I do get an apprentice, I don’t see Owlstar giving one to me anytime soon, even if there’s a kit out there that would want me as their mentor.”
