wandering through the forest (open)

Mothkit padded through the dense woods as quietly as she could. She smelled something coming from the direction of the wind. Mouse! Before she went missing, she never got training, but in the moon she was in the outdoors, she had picked up hunting skills. She stalked the mouse to her best ability and jumped on it. Finally, food. Mothkit hadn’t eaten in days, so she ran to the tree hole she called her home and gobbled it down.

Mothkit sat in her den quietly. She realized that she was finally 6 moons old, but without Bumblestar to name her Mothpaw, and without anyone to train her, she decided that she would just be Moth.

Moth heard the crunching of snow behind her and turned around. She could see a queen in the densely packed forest nearby. “Who are you?” she asked, surprised. She never saw cats in this part of the forest.

Morningsplash and Swanfeather were wondering in the forest. They had both gotten chased by dogs and couldn't find the clans. Morningsplash heard a sound and opened her mouth to taste the air. Morningsplash looks around to were the smell is coming from, her heart pounding.

Morningsplash realized it was just a squirrel and went to catch it. She hurled herself at it and realized it was next to a den and rolled into it. She screeched with fear as she ran into a wall. Swanflower ran up to Morningsplash and looked worried, then realized there was something else in the den.
