Lightningpaw would be at the border with Berrystorm pretty much Lightningpaw has done his entire Territory Tour in patrols save for a few places this place he remembered visiting with Twilightstar before... well before Bravebird passed and Lightningpaw officially was taken on by Twilightstar as her Apprentice. (Timeline is kinda wonky please forgive it.) "I remember coming here with Twilightstar awhile back it's around here that I caught my first rabbit." Lightningpaw would explain to Berrystorm. @kira

A warm purr rumbled in Berrystorm’s chest. “Good. I bet Twilightstar was proud of you,” The dilute tortoiseshell mewed, rubbing her cheek along the stems of a bramble bush before heading over to a tree to rub her spine along it.

And they were chatting. Not even doing that much border marking. Maybe THAT was why Berrystorm wanted to leave so quickly. So they could take a nice long time doing not much of anything. Deadmoon was trying her absolute best not to get annoyed, but Berrystorm's insistence on rushing off without her was rankling her a bit. Yes it was maybe a little bit her fault for not getting her butt out of her nest quickly enough. But was Deadmoon going to be REASONABLE? No, of course not! She was going to be as irrational as ever, and go off on her own to actually get the damn border marked.

Shadowclan had been here since she'd last come with Jaggedpaw, but nothing seemed particularly different. Just the usual marks on their side, which she would reciprocate on Windclan's own. A mark here, on a bramble. Another here, on a nice, rounded stone. Another one, right there on a stump. She was moving pretty quickly away from Berryfrost and Lightingpaw, irritation still smoldering. She really should calm down, but she just....didn't want to. Not much, anyway. Deep breaths, swallow her irrational irritation. Just CALM. DOWN. She was struggling. But the border was getting marked, so it was really fine. @kira @Lightningpaw666

Lightningpaw would nod. "I suppose so I just wonder if I can actually live up to the teachers I've had. I mean first it was Bravebird, she was a Fury. Then now it's Twilightstar herself. And yet... I'm just a small little apprentice who can't even use much strength." Lightningpaw would wonder aloud his thoughts of the pressure he was feeling. Lightningpaw was really a tiny apprentice despite being 13 moons old he looked like 8 moons old and he even didn't seem to have much strength his body seeming streamlined for speed to the detriment of his power. Lightningpaw would make a nearby willow on Windclan's border as he spoke. @kira @gs29513

Oh. Good. Deadmoon had caught up to them.

Berrystorm whisked her tail in greeting to the Fury. “Glad to see you caught up. Wonderful,” She purred, but then her lips turned down in a slight frown. The dilute tortoiseshell owned her Clanmate an explanation for leaving her. “Wasn’t intending on leaving you, but it was getting too cold and Crowtooth would have expected us to head out by then.”

She turned her frosty blue hues to Lightningpaw. “I’m sure Twilightstar is proud of you, Lightningpaw,” Berrystorm mewed as she marked the border in a couple more places and waited for the other two to finish up. “She’s your mentor and your leader, after all.”

HOORAY! Hillstrider beamed at Briarsplash as the Enforcer agreed to let them go together. He turned to tell Hollowpaw, but the apprentice had already disappeared. Normally that would be worrying, but Hillstrider had all the confidence that this apprentice he had never met before would be fine. He followed along Briarsplash, marking at intervals different from hers, to ensure the border was fully renewed. He wanted to chat, but every time he looked at Briarsplash with his mouth open to begin, she trotted a few steps ahead. Oh man, she was so cool! So focused on their task...

Hollowpaw appeared to them when they were done, and Hillstrider grinned at her. "Nice my dude!" As Briarsplash lead them back home, he strode alongside her, tail high in the air. "Easy-peasy, yo! Dream team!" He nudged her shoulder and chuckled.
