Finchpaw had avoided leaving the warmth of the den for as long as he could, but if he stayed much longer, he was sure that someone would drag him out. The sun was high enough that apprentice duties could start, and if he had to leave his den, he wanted to wake up and get moving before doing anything. Rising from his nest, the ginger and white tom stretched and walked out into the clearing. He winced as the cold morning wind buffeted his fur, immediately regretting his choice to get up. Maybe grooming could wait until later. He sat down and watched the Clan mull about the clearing with tired eyes.

Time to visit some kittens, they tended to be neglected the most so Seabreeze often would attempt to hold events and lessons for the rowdy group. Including right now, some names had been thrown around for some curious kittens so he would start with locating that bunch. “Ospreykit? And any other kittens, I’m going to be teaching some hunting basics! Come gather around!”

Marigoldpaw liked the snow! Until she didn't. Now she was stressing. And not the good kind (was there every a good kind of stressing??? Oh wait, yes! Good stress is momentarily stress, stress that helps in alertness and fight or flight situations. Which was not she kind of stress Marigoldpaw was feeling).

She didn't want to be a warrior, but she also didn't want to be the one apprentice who for some reason neglected their training, and then got bullied and ridiculed by her peers for being so unbelievably unskilled, and clumsy, and clumsy, and clumsy, and unable to form a coherent sentence.

Oh she was doing terrible. She practically had no friends (besides Aspenpaw, and she loved him to bits), no family, no motives besides trying to figure out what the heck she wanted to do with her life, as well as gain some good old knowledge, as long as that knowledge didn't involve "how to kill another cat 101".

The Norwegian forest cat loafed in the clearing, clenching her jaw anxiously. It was cold. Everything was cold. She could feel her bones burn through her thickening pelt (oh yippie, more fur!). Maybe she could snatch the next warrior she saw, ask them to teach her something that would make her a warrior faster while also avoiding swimming (the rivers and streams were frozen anyways) and any form of battle.

Though... Beggars can't be choosers, unfortunately. Hm... How could she get out of the beggar position?
