Tuftedtusk bounded into camp with his patrol and deposited his prey on the pile before going up to Mistlewhisker with a polite dip of his head to his deputy. "We are back with a pretty sizeable catch." He rumbled to the she-cat, gesturing to their catches with his paw.

Pondlily followed close behind Tuftedtusk, her squirrel and shrew dangling from her jaws by their tails. She set them atop of the fresh-kill pile before padding over to Mistlewhisker. She glanced over her shoulder to make sure that Icepaw and Quillpaw were keeping up.

“There would have been more if it were newleaf already,” The warrior meowed quietly to the ShadowClan Deputy. “Prey’s going underground now that it’s leaf-bare. Also, thought you might like to know that there are no traces of the rats and snakes ever since we drove them out and killed much of their populations. Since you sent us to Dawning Woods - where the battle took place, I figured you might have wanted us to keep an eye out for them.”

arriving back at camp, quillpaw promptly drops his catches at the prey pile. he lingers just long enough to catch tuftedtusk's report before stalking back to the apprentices den. it's far too cold to stand around for so long.

Icepaw padded with the rest of her patrolmates back to camp, proudly carrying her first catch. She dropped the mouse in the prey pile, and as everyone else had, went off to continue on with her day.

The tall she-cat trotted through snow, her tail high to keep whatever muck was on the ground out of her lengthening fur. Icy eyes searched for the medicine cat, her expression neutral and her maw swimming in a tingly sensation. She could only hope her patrol was close behind. Now that she was thinking about it, she should've given Duskpaw a nudge on the shoulder to let her know the patrol was leaving...

Hm. She could easily use her nose to figure it out. Mudslide pointed out, sparring a glance behind her. It seemed like everycat was accounted for. Good. No more useless what ifs for her.

Once she reached the herbalist, she set the herbs down at her paws. She would've said something after, maybe what she gathered (yes, she was aware Sleepysunrise could probably already tell) but she couldn't feel anything inside her mouth. She just shot the younger cat a look. A look that probably didn't convey anything, since Mudslide was deadpan, but a look nonetheless.

fighting the horrible worry that claws at her, squirrelrise's ears flatten against her skull. her mouth is still numb, unfortunately. she doesn't feel like she's dying, though, so there's that, at least. still, it's very worrying and ooh, she doesn't like it at all. she quickly sets down the herbs at sleepysunrise's paws, concern etched on her features, before she nods and pads off.

Well, that was oddly fast for a patrol but she wasn't the leader of said patrol nor was she a warrior of any kind. The only thing she could do was just follow and listen until she earned the rank. Springburst didn't show on her face how disappointed she felt in as she dropped a lemming and a dove in the pile. "Coulda tried to catch more than two pieces of prey but..." she shrugged. Man she sure wished she was a warrior again, she'd be able to go and hunt more often without restrictions.

the dilute tabico padded behind the rest of her patrol, mouth numb, and a glare on her face. something was up with the burdock, and she only knew that because her mouth was getting numb when she was holding it.

she placed the uprooted plant down and the two stems of borage.

Mudslide padded in, a slight tremble to her step with each shiver. She located the Shadowclan deputy and dipped her head at the she-cat in respect. Well, as much respect one could have when she sent them out while it was snowing like the heavens decided they wanted to cry icy tears of vain, but hey, oh well.

Her long fluffy tail lashed to the side of her. "Nightpaw. Didn't come." She explained, her voice the usual whisper. She then quickly showed off what she gathered before padding off to the freshkill pile.
