On such a quiet winters day as today any loud sound that rolls over the empty plains can be heard by all. Even as scattered to all sides of windclans territory as they might be. Especially with a sound so loud and alien as this.


Its a roaring, growling sound like the rumbling of thunder but not, echoing across the plains and to many a warrior its a noise never heard before. To those more world wary, a twoleg monster, normally only heard near their thunderpath, so far from windclans vast grassland its terrifying. But to those with keen ears its also.... different? Softer, lesser and two in number.


With little to block sightlines all can soon see the cause. Two humans, riding strange mini monsters over the hills, backs laden with bags and creating huge ruts in the pristine snow. Any cats they see they dont seem to care about, and for all theyre usually a danger this duo is no more a threat then a passing deer.


Still, even as they vanish from view the noise has seemingly startled off all prey, though keen eyes will find more worry in the fact that theyre headed directly to the Windy hills......

Russetpounce felt a chill down his spine as he heard a rumbling sound, his head immediately jerking towards the source of it. His eyes widened as he spotted the two creatures riding on small monsters, his pelt bushing up and his lips curling back in a snarl as they passed close enough to him to feel the extra wind buffet him. To his surprise, they didn't seem to care at all about him, though they did look at him with their weird hairless faces.

Wispeye flinched. Her ears perked up, stretching up to the sky in an effort to hear more details. She turned her head. Dust mixed with snow floated by on the breeze behind a large, loud creature. She backed away with her eyes glued to the monster until her back feet touched a tree.

A shiver racked her body. She tried to tune out the sound and listen for something, anything else.

Oh, please don't tell me it's that loud colourful furball again... Windpaw grimaced, fur standing on end as she moved closer to Deadmoon, attempting to hide behind the she-cat's tail. Her ears stayed pinned against her head, a helpless attempt in trying to tune out the loud and TOTALLY UNNECESSARY NOISE.

"What do I know about fighting, er.. uhm.. I know how to swipe.. I guess? Simple stuff that kits know." They responded, looking at him. A hint of nervousness made it's way onto their face. They didn't like this. They seemed to change their gait as their body language turned anxious. They spent most of their time staring up at clouds, they barely interacted with any of the other cats their age! Caterpillar in fact, does not know how to fight. They don't even know simple kit play fighting moves.

Bluestrike nodded, flexing his claws. Well, I guess we'll start with the basics. He purred, flicking his tail. Defensive moves are easiest and most nessicary, so you can learn those first. He gestured for them to move backwards so there was enough space. Once there was, he raised his paw, bringing it forcefully down on the air. Like this. He mewed, blinking. You try.

They blinked, watching the paw be brought down. That could really do some damage if it hit someone! Or something.. They nodded, lifting their paw as they became happy again. With their paw in the air, they brought it down swiftly. It was clumsy at best, but they are JUST learning after all.

Caterpillarpaw kept their claws sheathed, a little nervous but proud of themself. So they got into position. They brought up their paw and brought it down upon their father. Caterpillar was hoping they didn't hurt him at all. They were trying to do it correctly though.. Oh gosh Caterpillar stop worrying!
