SALAMANDERPAW . 9 MOONS . SHE/HER . RIVERCLAN
Salamanderpaw stomps on up to participate. She's leaving her attitude behind for this; hunting for the clan is vital and it doesn't require her big mouth to run.
Re: 'Tis the Season ( To be Hunting ) [ Hunting Event ]
Songwave's blue ears swivelled at Seabreeze's call, and he wrinkled his brows in concern. He could hear the hurt in the tom's voice. The warrior had been close to the leader at the time of their death, and that would sit in the deep of them for a long time. But in that same sense he trusted Seabreeze's request, knowing that this extra hunting patrol would have come from Stormstar's own mouth, if they were still here. And because of that, Songwave knew he was needed. The clan, his leader, had always relied upon him for hunting and battle, so today would be no different. No more cats would be lost, if the tom could help it.
The blue tom stood up from his nest in the warriors den and brushed his white-tipped tail against his mates shoulder, nodding over to Seabreeze. He didn't use any words because he was confident that she had heard them, as she always does.
"I'll see if Smolderpaw wants to come too." The tom added, giving her an affectionate lick on the head before heading over to the apprentices den. He didn't see his apprentice in there anywhere, but he asked another apprentice nearby to pass on the message, in case he was out briefly at the dirtplace. He'd never been a mentor before, but he thought that, being in groups, he might be able to see what other cats do. Maybe this would be good for them?
Songwave padded over to the sand-brushed pelt in the middle clearing, "I am here to help Riverclan." He meowed. 'I always am.' He added in thought, sitting among the other cats who had joined to help.
( @Rose and @Omari you're both free to come along, don't worry if you can't make it though)

Almondchatter
She/Her
Groggy blue eyes open as Songwave's warmth leaves her side. Where was the tom going at this time of day? At any time of day, actually. It was too cold to move around. Almondchatter had only barely begun to show, the innocentest swell when she lay on her side. For the most part, the Queen in question had barely taken notice, still content to snuggle into her lover's side in their shared nest when nights came. If Songwave noticed before her, that was uncertain.
Though if anything, Almondchatter had begun to feel a heaviness in her paws, along with the constant sleepiness, and the mood to do nothing but laze around, preferably at her mate's side, eyes half-lidded. Was she greedy to hunger for inaction and affection? Perhaps. But Songwave was leaving (more importantly, taking his warmth with him) for Seabreeze's hunting event, and Almondchatter had to suppress the pitiful whine of protest crawling up her throat as she pushed to her paws with a disgruntled huff.
Her grumbling dissipated a moment later to be replaced by a pleased smile when she received a lick to the forehead, and now sated for the current moment, Almondchatter ceased her grouching to follow her mate out into the open. Gah, she very much disliked the cold. Anyone who preferred it was inane.
