His head whipped around to face her, surprise lighting his features. "Oh! Jaggedsky, sorry I didn't see you there," He picked his mouse up and moved closer to her. "Want to share a mouse? It's sure cold out so foods getting rather scarce." He set the mouse down and nudged it towards her, waiting for her response. It was always nice to spend time with clanmates, and he truthfully didn't talk ti Jaggedsky often so it was even nicer to get to talk to her.

A warm tingle zipped through her body. The smell of the mouse wafted through the chilled air to her smooth nose. It was still warm. Maybe some attentive company wouldn't be so bad.

"I'd like that." She looked at Graynight intently. He was being nice to her. Genuinly. It was hard to get passed the surface with alot of cats. She'd learned some tricks, but she didn't think she'd need them with him.

"I'd like that." She looked at Graynight intently. He was being nice to her. Genuinly. It was hard to get passed the surface with alot of cats. She'd learned some tricks, but she didn't think she'd need them with him.

He nudged the mouse closer to her, smiling a little. He was glad to see she seemed interested in the offering, he had almost thought she wouldn't accept, which would have been a mighty fine shame. "You can have the first bite," He offered. She wasn't taking her eyes off of him, which was honestly making him feel... strange, but he didn't drop his eyes either, meeting hers with a calm curiosity. Graynight decided then that he was interested in her, she seemed like someone who would be fun to get to know better, and so he would do just that.

Her eyes widened just slightly. Unnoticeable, if you weren't watching carefully. A worthy offering, she thought to herself, satisfied. "Thanks," she meowed more cheerfully, although her voice was still soft. It felt like speaking louder would ruin the content distance she felt from the rest of the clan.

She carefully took a bite. Not too big and not too small. She was self-conscious about silly stuff like that, although she would never admit it.

The grey tom watched her silently, a slight purr rumbling from him as she responded cheerfully and it dawned on him that she must have been in a bad mood, hiding away from the clan. It did hopefully mean, he hadn't been intruding. With how many lived in their camp though, it was rather hard to not intrude.

Graynights ear twitched away the thoughts, bending down to take a bite that matched hers once Jaggedsky had taken the first bite, and began to chew it as he thought of a good topic to speak about. "I've not talked to you much before," He finally commented. "Are you a good hunter? I don't think we've ever actually hunted on a patrol together before either...."

Yes, that sounded like loads of fun, and it would be an extra challenge with how cold it was and the light snow that covered the ground. As much as it must suck to hunt in leaf-bare, as this was his first one, well, he had been a kit the last leaf-bare, it sounded like an absolutely amazing challenge. His head tipped to the side. debating if he should offer it to her as a challenge.

He nodded at her words, peeking up through the undergrowth at the sky. He couldn't think of anything further to say at the moment, leaning down to take another bite of the mouse and then nudged it back towards the she-cat. It was nice to sit there with her, she made the space feel warm and sharing prey was always nice.
