They stood up as soon as the the rest of the patrol returned. Duskpaw found three, and Featherpaw found..one..it's..better than nothing, right? She just wasn't as lucky. Sunsetgleam shook of the thought; one is better than none at all. And they were still grateful. The patrol still found cobwebs, and seven of them, even if the amount might not seem like too much "good job you two" they shot a smile at the two before leading the patrol back to camp with their own cobwebs in tow

Luckily, it didn't take the warrior too long to find Berryshine. Actually, it was pretty easy. "Berryshine!" they called up, voice slightly muffled from the cobweb wrapped stick in their mouth. Padding up towards the medicine cat, they gently placed the stick on the ground "the patrol found a total of seven cobwebs. Unfortunately, it seems like Amberdusk didn't show up" they didn't know where the other warrior is right now. Whether they were busy or simply didn't hear Berryshine's call..there could be a dozen of reasons and they can't really assume. But hopefully it was still something reasonable

Featherpaw followed the rest of the patrol into camp, carrying the stick with the one cobweb she had found. It was all she could find, but it was better than nothing.

Honeystep walked to the patrol place with her head held high and carrying her bounty of poppy seeds. Would she wish she had more? No, not really. There was already a mountain of expectation for herself on her shoulder, anymore and she would collapse. "Uh... Stormstar, we got a collection of poppy seeds. Ten in total!" She murred happily. That should be a boon to the clan right?

Once the tom got back to camp, he dismissed the two apprentices before heading over to the deputy. "The border is all clear, marked and doesn't seem to be any problems there. Both apprentices showed up n did what they needed to do to contribute," the warrior reported, but he would wait for a response before he would leave.

Brokenstream padded back to camp, ear twitching irritably. ”Owltalon,” He mewed as he approached the deputy, dipping his head respectfully. ”I apologize for the delay in reporting, we got side tracked looking for Peachspring.” The tom’s tail swished back and forth. ”She showed up for the patrol, but never went out to the border with us. Otherwise, the patrol was fine. Borders are marked and nothing seemed out of the ordinary.”

Primroseadder made her way into camp, a tiny tomkit clamped between her jaws jaws by the scruff. Spotting Owltalon, RiverClan's light brown-furred Deputy, the mottled dark-cream-and-white warrior made her way over, only sparing a glance over her shoulder to make sure that Sharkhail and Smolderpaw were following her.

Coming to a halt in front of Owltalon, Primroseadder set the kit down at her own paws. ''Owltalon,'' She dipped her head respectfully. ''The border was clear, and there were no signs of WindClan invasion. However,'' The she-cat gestured to the kit. ''Sharkhail, Smolderpaw, and I found a litter of kits at the border, close to the stream. Two of the kits were dead, and it looked as if their mother had abandoned them shortly after they died. This tom was the only one to survive.''

Primroseadder blinked, her emerald hues softening as she bent her head to give the tomkit a lick between the ears. ''Seeing as we didn't know how you or Stormstar would react if we buried the two kits at Seagrass Fields, since they weren't our Clanmates, we buried them at the border to keep foxes from invading and getting to them,'' The RiverClanner further explained, gaze flicking up to meet the Deputy's amber hues. ''We didn't want to leave this kit at the border to die, so we brought him home. We thought we would let you and Stormstar decide what to do with him.'' Hopefully the two didn't decide to throw him out. The kit was young. Too young, in fact, and would die if they didn't get him to a nursing queen, as he needed milk. ''However, if I can influence your decision, even if only a little bit...this kit needs milk. He'll die without it. Even if I can't nurse him, another queen can and I'll take care of both the kit and the queen. I'll hunt extra. I'll give my best catches to them. I'll give them my prey before I eat and I'll give them my moss from my nest. I will bring them fresh water daily.''

There was a pleading tone in her voice. It was clear that Primroseadder would do anything she could to influence Owltalon and Stormstar's decision, even if only a little bit. She was willing to make sure that the kit had a home, even if that meant taking care of him herself and doing extra duties as a warrior.

Burying kittens wasn't something that Sharkhail was too keen on doing but he kicked the paw out of the duty to spare them the heartache of this solemn duty. It of course made him late but he wanted to make sure it was a proper burial even if it wasn't at Riverclan's graveyard. He would have buried them there but atlas he didn't want to step on some toes. His alternative was to place a random assortment of rocks over the fresh dirt so that if he could exhume them if Stormstar didn't have a problem with them sharing the graveyard. Once he finally made it back to the patrol place he noticed how Primroseadder seemed to have told everything that had happened and stood in the background in case he was questioned as well. Why say everything someone just said, right?
