The prey stores were low, and that was never good, especially with leaf-bare creeping up quickly. Bumblestar stretched out her legs and moved to the center of the clearing, combing over her plan one last time before she cleared her throat.
"ThunderClan, listen up!"
She let her voice echo across the clearing, hoping it'd be enough to get the attentions of several. If not, she had no qualms going from nest to nest and smacking the slackers upside the head to get them moving. Stars new some of these slugs needed some motivation. "We're low on prey, and we need that fixed quick. I'm puttin' together a bit of a contest to remedy things, so gather up 'n I'll split the lot of you into different teams. Let's move it!"

The next post is scheduled for November 18th.
This is intended to be a brief hunting event. Rules and how it will function are outlined below.
Participants will be split into equal-sized groups. Each group will be assigned to hunt within a particular part of the territory in order to rebuild the lacking prey stores. DO NOT stray from your assigned locations or teams; your character will be disqualified.
When posting with your characters, INCLUDE WHICH PURRKS THEY CURRENTLY HAVE ACTIVE, INCLUDING WHEEL OF MISFORTUNE PURRKS. Certain Purrks may give your characters advantages or disadvantages during the event. Only ONE of your characters may participate; don't double up. If you do post more than one, I'll only be selecting a single character at random.
There will be 6 rounds, run once every two days (or possibly three, depending on the time I have). During each round, I will post with everyone's dice results, with the additions, subtractions, and resulting totals outlined so that you know in detail how your roll went.
DICE ROLLS & POINTS In order to keep things fair, I am rolling two dice; a D5 to decide which category they hunt in, and a D20 to decide what they caught, if anything. DO NOT include in your posts what your character caught or if they caught anything at all. You will be asked to edit it out and may be disqualified from the event if reminders are constant.
When rolling a 1 on the D5: Nothing found When rolling below each minimum on the D20: Failed catch When rolling a 2 on the D5: Mice, voles, shrews, other small mammals - 4-10 indicates a successful catch; 1 point each When rolling a 3 on the D5: Moles, squirrels on the ground, birds on the ground - 10 - 15 indicates a successful catch; 2 points each When rolling a 4 on the D5: Squirrels in trees, birds in trees, fish - 14 - 18 indicates a successful catch; 3 points each When rolling a 5 on the D5: Rabbits, hares - 17 - 20 indicates a successful catch; 4 points each

WINNERS AND PRIZES Team Earning Most Points: The team/group that collects the highest total points wins this overall category. Each member will earn 10,000 KK each. Most Points Earned Individually: The three participants who earn the most points individually will earn 10,000, 7,000, and 5,000 KK for first, second, and third place, respectfully. There may be ties, in which case each member who earned the same amount will earn koins as well. First place will get a loosely-done headshot of their participating character.

Wolfpaw was outside his den grooming himself when he heard the leader's voice. loud. he hobbled over and listened as the leader announced a hunting event. Oh he was so joining. Only problem was... he didn't know how to hunt. But the young medicine had a determined look in his green eyes. "Don't know how to hunt, but i'm joinin and you cant stop me," he told the leader, a big smile on his maw. even if he didn't know how to hunt, it would still be fun!!

Seeing another cat, a medicine cat at that, that didn’t know how to hunt gave Nettlepaw some courage.
Slightly smiling at Wolfpaw, Nettlepaw approached her leader as well as the other cats.
She wasn’t going to show it, but she knew she was NOT going to win. She was sure of it. However, she had a slight confidence boost. Nettlepaw would give it a go.
Fallenwillow strolled towards the gathered cats. Sure, he liked the kits, but sometimes he needed a bit of fresh air, the nursery did tend to feel stuffy.

Hearing Bumblestar's call, Duckfrond padded over curiously. A hunting event? Why, hunting was his second favorite thing! After battle, that is. He'd definitely take part in this. He paused within the crowd, eager for it to start.
Grasspaw came over and decided to see if Alpinepaw might join him. He really liked her and wanted to bond with her more and earn her trust before.. well he would see..

Okay, she knew she was due any day now… but did that mean she was gonna sit back and do nothing? Spring hadn't been too far off when she was listening to Bumblestar call to the clan to gather around. Her tattered ears twitched, her paws slowly unfurling themselves from the loaf position she was in as she quietly slipped her way over from the far end of the clearing. She doubted the leader would want her to join due to what she has done, but this was at least a chance to prove herself to her leader that she could still be a valuable asset to the clan even after… everything that has happened. Either way, she hoped Bumblestar would allow her in, nonetheless. A shrivel of her former self was hanging over her and she wanted to enlighten it by assisting her clan any way possible, even if she was heavily pregnant and due at some point in time. It also didn’t help when she dealt with consistent nausea and aching from the heaviness of her swollen belly. Seriously, was this normal? It had to be, right? Either way, she decided to quietly wait for further instructions; hopefully she would be allowed to participate to help her clan. She didn’t want to be looked at like some selfish fool who didn’t want her clan to be fully prepared for the coming colder days. If she can’t assist… well, then she wouldn’t know what to do, then. Maybe she could go help in some other shape or form.

Honeysuckleglow emerges from the warriors den, the cool breeze of autumn hitting their golden tabby fur as they heard the loud call of their leader, Bumblestar. ‘A hunting challenge?’ They thought to themself.
They were pretty average at hunting, nothing special in that particular skill, but that was no reason not to participate. This would be a good way to help out her clan. They cantered over to the meeting of participants and sat down grooming themself. Perchance this would be a good opportunity to meet some new companions?

The last face she wanted to see right now decided to make a show of herself, and Bumblestar felt her expression morph into a scowl. Was it actually nice to see that, for the first time since returning, Spring actually wanted to make an effort? Sure. But it was almost entirely off-set by the fact it had been almost a moon at this point, and those spawn of hers were clearly about to pop.
"Spring." The single utterance was cutting. "You're pregnant. You lose your sense along with your loyalty, too? Get back to the nursery. Those kits of yours don't need to be jostled around in the territory 'cause you waited this long to be of any use. Go."
