The next post is scheduled for
November 18th.
This is intended to be a brief hunting event. Rules and how it will function are outlined below.
Participants will be split into equal-sized groups. Each group will be assigned to hunt within a particular part of the territory in order to rebuild the lacking prey stores. DO NOT stray from your assigned locations or teams; your character will be disqualified.
When posting with your characters,
INCLUDE WHICH PURRKS THEY CURRENTLY HAVE ACTIVE, INCLUDING WHEEL OF MISFORTUNE PURRKS. Certain Purrks may give your characters advantages or disadvantages during the event. Only ONE of your characters may participate; don't double up. If you do post more than one, I'll only be selecting a single character at random.
There will be 6 rounds, run once every two days (or possibly three, depending on the time I have). During each round, I will post with everyone's dice results, with the additions, subtractions, and resulting totals outlined so that you know in detail how your roll went.
DICE ROLLS & POINTS
In order to keep things fair, I am rolling two dice; a
D5 to decide which category they hunt in, and a
D20 to decide what they caught, if anything.
DO NOT include in your posts what your character caught or if they caught anything at all. You will be asked to edit it out and may be disqualified from the event if reminders are constant.
When rolling a 1 on the D5: Nothing found
When rolling below each minimum on the D20: Failed catch
When rolling a 2 on the D5: Mice, voles, shrews, other small mammals -
4-10 indicates a successful catch;
1 point each
When rolling a 3 on the D5: Moles, squirrels on the ground, birds on the ground -
10 - 15 indicates a successful catch;
2 points each
When rolling a 4 on the D5: Squirrels in trees, birds in trees, fish -
14 - 18 indicates a successful catch;
3 points each
When rolling a 5 on the D5: Rabbits, hares -
17 - 20 indicates a successful catch;
4 points each

WINNERS AND PRIZES
Team Earning Most Points: The team/group that collects the highest total points wins this overall category. Each member will earn
10,000 KK each.
Most Points Earned Individually: The three participants who earn the most points individually will earn
10,000, 7,000, and 5,000 KK for first, second, and third place, respectfully. There may be ties, in which case each member who earned the same amount will earn koins as well. First place will get a loosely-done headshot of their participating character.
