Massive paws silently padded through the cool moors, nose quivering at the delightful scent of not one, but two rabbits. Leafbare was fast approaching, and while Crowtooth made just as fantastic a deputy as Fallownose had - not that the gentle giant had ever doubted Twilightstar's choice... he just had a natural preference for his former father-in-law - and kept the prey pile well stocked, his kits had... seemingly infinite stomachs. No matter how much they ate, they never seemed to be satisfied. Not that they necessarily seemed to enjoy their meals half the time. With the exception of Cardinalkit, whom he was sure could eat rocks if she was hungry enough, his other treasures were... picky eaters. Which of course was fair! Why, everyone had their preferences! He himself enjoyed rabbit. The fresher, the better!
That's what had led him out here on the hunt today. Searching for the perfect meal for his precious little ones. He wanted them all to be well fed, strong, and healthy. Well... strong enough to be healthy. He wouldn't love them any less if they weren't physically powerful, by golly! Maybe he should make sure to let them know that more often. More snuggles for them in the future for sure. But that would have to wait. Because his nose had not led him astray, and he could spot the two rabbits now. Surprisingly plump for the end of leaffall. His kits would - hopefully - be thrilled!

| Decided to split this starter up between Snowybreeze out hunting and then Cardinalkit spotting Snowydad coming in with two rabbits to eat, but if anyone else wants to have their kit spot Snowydad first and tell the others feel free to do so!
