Okay, the otter was half-blind now.
Cascadingrapids decided to go for the new blind spot.

She succeeded easily, clawing into the otter's back.

She made sure the claw marks were long and deep, and jumped off again before it could grab her.

Peachspring paid little mind to what her Clanmates were doing, listening briefly to how Stormstar yowled out commands to the warriors amidst the battle. She didn't pay much attention, her name wasn't mentioned after all, so why should she?

The now half-blind offer let out a monstrous screech of fury. Peachspring cringed at the sound, it was like claws scraping against a rock. Not pleasant to the ears at all. Although, she didn't blame it, she'd totally react the same way if she got her butt kicked by a bunch of creatures smaller than her too! Peachspring took note of her partner's agility, Cascadingrapid seemed to have a knack for battered the otter than hopping back just at the last moment. That was a nice skill to have, unfortunately Peachspring would probably never have the speed for that kind of strategy. Her small fluffy legs were not built for swiftness.

The other warrior used the blind spot to her advantage, wasting no time as she sprung into the otter's back and latched on, raking her claws through the thick brown fur all the way down the back as it let out another screech of pain. Peachspring smirked. The thing was beginning to bleed now, blood gushed instead of just trickling. But as Cascadingrapid leapt away from the other, it turned it's head towards Peachspring.

The otter barrelled into Peachspring and used its its bodyweight to knock the smaller warrior down. The air was momentarily knocked from Peachspring's lungs as she was slammed down into the ground by the otter.

The molly gasped for air and for a second she was terrified that this would be her demise. Is this the end?! Would she die alone without a mate or kits or even making any significant achievements?! Would she just be... forgotten...? Hell nah. Those were loser thoughts right there. And she had too much willpower and pride to let herself die to a water rat that was already half blind. The otter snapped at her, aiming for her fluffy throat, but Peachspring managed to squirm, despite how disoriented she was, just enough for it's sharp teeth to puncture her cheek instead. And damn did it sting.

With another heavy gasp, air flooded into her lungs, and she was filled with a surge of energy and life. No creature would ruin her beautiful face without having to suffer the consequences! Her amber eyes glinted with that familiar spark and she hissed. Even if she was pinned, she still had an advantage. She had direct aim to the otter's belly. And if there was one thing she learned from Pa, it was always aim for the belly. Peachspring unsheathed the claws of her hind legs, angling them as best as she could with the otter obscuring her view as well as her dizziness. With mighty force she kicked them straight into the otter's belly, easily tearing through the soft pale fur of it's stomach. She as successfully managed to injure the otter enough so that it screeched in pain, and staggered off of her to assume a defensive position instead.
