Well. It wasn't his father. The universe sure did like granting his wishes...the way he'd made them. Yep. With a held in sigh, the black and white feline stepped towards the leader, awaiting the proper nose to forehead. That would probably come later, as the meeting was not yet over. Still. He waited.

Gently sitting himself down, rolling his gaze over to the crowd. A small part of him wished his dad was here...but he wouldn't be. He was at sick camp...keeping tabs. If he was even doing that.

Almost smoothly. Almost. It was hard to keep track of who was ill and who wasn't nowadays, and it would be much easier if the sick cats could stay in the sick camp! An unbidden snarl pulled itself from her throat as Wolfpaw called out Dustlark. "Blazingpaw," she barked, "you'll be with Cedarstrike instead. Dustlark!" Her tail swept across the Stormcrest as she stared him down. "It's been said time 'n time again that if you're sick, you stay in the quarantine camp. Also been said a dozen times by now that cats aren't allowed outta camp alone, which I'm assuming you've done if you're just now showin' up. 'N since you're here, I'm also gonna assume you've been here long enough to know about my new policy. So get." She jerked her head at the camp's entrance. "Out. I don't wanna see you for at least another moon."

Hopefully there was no pushback. She was being nice, considering it was supposed to be permanent instead of just a temporary timeline. Whatever - if she ended up needing to kill him because he decided to be stupid about this, she wouldn't have an issue with that.

"One last thing. Wolfpaw 'n Hollowpaw received a prophecy a little while back regardin' the illness. Lavendersong 'n Raggedear were chosen to go out on a journey 'n find a cure, and Brackenclaw went with 'em as an escort. I don't know how long it'll take or when they'll be back, but we can only hope it'll be sooner rather than later. Keep an eye out when you're near the borders, 'n keep 'em in your thoughts as you go about your duties. Hopefully this mess'll be over soon."

With that, she descended the Stormcrest, signaling the end of the meeting. She could take Beetlepaw out, tend to whatever needed tending, and then hopefully take a nap (stars knew she needed one). She managed to pick him out of the crowd and headed over to bump her nose against his forehead. "You ready to head out?"

[ Hushfalls - since it's mostly my bad and i didn't realize dustlark was sick, he's only been exiled temporarily for a month instead of permanently. as long as he doesn't cause trouble during the temp exile or during his eventual rejoining he'll be okay to return later, but it's not really IC for bumble to completely go back on the new policy when it's just been announced so she can't really just do nothing about it. sorry for the confusion o/]

Dude, why was this gross adult interrupting her conversation with her Hornet? It was just so rude! But when she was called 'dearie', something in her body thawed, like it'd been frozen over for years. Maybe Sweetswan wouldn't be too bad. "I'm staying with Hornetkit.
