"I'm not LYING!" Her voice raised a bit to retailate. Treetiger hated being accused of things, and honestly, she didn't know why she kept bothering to reason with this one. Perhaps she was balancing on the edge of insanity herself.
He just smacked it again? This time, Treetiger could see it getting upset. It was shaking violently, casting a focus on the Warriors' Den where she was sleeping. Her eyes grew wide before she started huffing a little, anxiety building up as she took one stiff pawstep forward to try and stop Bogtumble. "st- stop that-" He was reaching for someone. She started shaking her head, the energy feeding into this entity and draining her strength. It was such an intense feeling of helplessness and fear.
It was growing tired of this game. The violent shaking turned into a stiffened blackness as a voice rang out to Bogtumble. "Quite ENOUGH of that!" It had pried into this sicks cats brain, pulling out a voice buried deep in the memories he struggled with. A sudden shake and the figure disappeared, only to be found sitting up in a tree over Treetiger.
"ENOUGH!" The warrior would shout at the same time the entity mimicked the voice. Thud. The Bengal collapsed, gasping for air as the anxiety sent her spiraling into a panic attack. Helpless eyes looked up at Bogtumble, as she tried to focus on regaining her bearings. Inhale. Exhale. Inhale.
It'd been a while since she felt something so intense...
It had been a long time since Bogtumble had been frightened. Nothing really scared him anymore, perhaps a side effect of the madness that ate away at his brain. But when Stoathollow's voice exploded from the shadow, his father's voice in a tone that had never been used, his fur stood on end and he shrank back.
"...no." The single word fell from his lips in a whisper as the pupil in his good eye shrank to an eclipsed sliver. And then, voice keening, he howled, "NO! YOU LEFT ME! YOU DON'T GET TO TELL ME WHEN IT'S ENOUGH!"
Ignoring Treetiger entirely, as if the warrior had never even existed at all, Bogtumble staggered forward, reared up, and with a silent snarl, unsheathed his claws and attempted to bring them down on the entity's head.
The panic wasn't subsiding. Bogtumble wasn't even acknowledging her at this point which sent Treetiger sprawling further into her mind. Quickened breaths escaped her until she was feeling light-headed. She watched helplessly as Bogtumble crept past, aiming a blow for her friend.
"NOOO--" That was it. That was the last straw for her dream realm before it came crashing down around her. In an instant, Treetiger and her entity disappeared. She'd wake up flailing back in the Warriors' Den soon.
Would she be dealing with Bogtumble more often now?
Was her friend a portal for him now...
@dino. - Bogtumble [lmk if you wanna get them together soon or play with that window of vision he could pry through her entity!]
Treetiger vanished, and with her, so did the entity disguising itself as Stoathollow. Bogtumble's claws slammed into the earth and splintered, but the pain that arced up his paws went ignored as he let loose a howling chain of unintelligible shrieking. He ripped at the dirt and the leaf litter until his claws were broken and bloody before aiming a lash at the nearest trunk and making a break for the border. Someone was going to die a second death today.
