Softdaisy sat near the Nursery entrance, keeping a weary eye on the kits under her care that were outside the confines of the nest. Spiderlingkit… Hornetkit… Butterflykit… Dra— “Dragonflykit, sweetie, please stop running around. You’ll get underfoot.” The tired Queen’s voice was filled with concern as she got up to (attempt to) wrap a gentle paw around the kitten’s midriff and halt her running around. If there were any other of the bug litter (or Loonkit) running around the clearing, Softdaisy’s roleplayer was too lazy to check, but the cat in question was always open to being approached by her little ones.

Sunflowerpaw tumbled out of the apprentices´ den, landing on her side in the middle of the clearing with a thump that sounded more painful than it actually felt, as well as a loud ´´Hmph!´´
Due to the fall, Sunflowerpaw´s pelt was all ruffled whenever she pushed herself into a sitting position. Shaking our her golden-and-cream mackerel tabby fur and giving it a quick grooming, the unusually massive apprentice got to her paws and began to look around for her mentor, Violetfreckle.

Creepingpaw's head suddenly shot back up in shock at Bumblestar's response. In all honesty, he wasn't expecting that response. The silver tabby knew full well that Bumblestar took no disrespect or funny business. So he fully anticipated to have his face clawed off instead. And he might've deserved it. Bumblestar was right. He was being childish. The raucous apprentice, with tears still streaming out of his eyes, quickly began to wipe them away with his paw before clutching that paw to his chest to breathe and calm down. Whenever he had even a lick of sense left inside him, Creepingpaw always held his paw to his chest to calm down since it felt like a warm embrace. Closing his emerald eyes and taking a deep inhale and exhale, Creepingpaw steadied his nerves enough to speak without his emotions taking over. But when he opened his eyes to respond to Bumblestar, the look in his eyes became glazed and greyed with despondency and defeat. Creepingpaw already knew the answer was no anyways, so what's the point. "Bumblestar...I'm sorry." Creepingpaw rumbled in a flat voice, his words were genuine but his heart was broken, "Lavendersong is gone, I have no family. And I just wanted to take the beds once to the quarantine camp to see my best friend. I made a promise, and I-... aha, it doesn't matter anways, huh?" Creepingpaw chuckled through his tone of devestation.
A sigh forced its way through Bumblestar's gritted teeth. "Risingstorm, you can take your leave. I can handle this."
Once the Hornet was gone, she turned her attention fully on Creepingpaw. She was still obviously aggravated, but at the very least attempting to reign some of that irritation in before she carried on with this. "Look. I get it, yeah? I do. But runnin' up in here 'n shoutin' doesn't make me wanna listen to you, it just gets me ticked off. I appreciate you calmin' yourself down, 'cause it makes this easier for both of us.
"The quarantine camp's well-protected. If anything happens, there's cats there who can fend it off or come get our help. Either way, they'll be okay. Your concern is well-placed, but you're much safer bein' here than you are over there. We still don't know much about this sickness 'n I don't wanna risk you fallin' ill when there's not much we can do right now. If things start calmin' down 'n getting better, I can see about takin' you over so you can talk to your friend. For right now, though, you're better off stayin' away."
She twitched an ear, thinking. "If you want... I can take you outta camp 'n we can get some training done, maybe help you not feel so cooped up. You up for that?"

A snort came from the tom as she did a full 180. Went from soft and fluffy to an absolute spicy kitten. A slight smile formed on his maw before replaced with a thoughtful expression. "Nah. Too cool to be abandoned. They moved on though. Grew up." he hummed, shuffling back so he could fully lay down. Resting his chin on his paws as he blew a small puff of air towards Waspkit.
"I. However. Never die." a snort. To him, it seemed like it. Most everyone else around him died. He was never supposed to outlive them. Never. Yet here he was. With far too many of his own 'kits.'
Waspkit huffed slightly at her dad's words about him being 'Too cool to be abandoned'. She didn't believe that one bit! While he was a bit cool, he wasn't cool enough to not be left. What if he was mean or annoying to his family? Waspkit would have 100% left, no matter how cool he claimed to be. Just because this big grown-up tom wanted to lie to her a out being cool, that doesn't mean she'll believe it.... Maybe. Even the puff of air Spiderdad blew at her face as he rested his big face on his paws didn't deter her.
"I don't believe you. Parents aren't supposed to lie, didn't you know that?" Waspkit said, still sitting next to the deputy. "Even if you don't die, why you? What's so spesi- specia..special about you?" She asked, proud of herself that she was able to say that word. Waspkit would definitely tell her Hornet about it.
