Buzzkit pops back a little when the apprentice immediately snaps up from her sleep after his insistence. He glances inquisitively down at her unsheathed claws, then up at her quivering shoulders, then back to her wide eye.
This cat is definitely different from Mothflame - too… shaky. Even if they look very similar… oooh, Buzzkit wonders if this apprentice’s fur will shine in the sunlight as much as Mothflame’s? To be fair, meeting both cats, they have both acted very oddly to Buzzkit’s approaching them. Or, well, that happens sorta often when the kit introduces himself to cats. A lot of cats are weird, he guesses, but that’s okay.
“Um… I dunno. You’re alone,” the kit drawls. His head cocks to one side, then cants to another. Why is the she-cat acting like that? “I was just wondering why you’re the only one left here.”
From this angle, Buzzkit can see the standing apprentice’s face scarring much better than before. It really is much more than he’s really ever seen before. The whole left side of her face is ragged skin, color like something had taken those parts of the she-cat’s red fur and left them in the sun too long… no wonder she’d slept in if that’s what happens when she goes out in the sun. Well, Buzzkit just focuses on the right side of her face instead - even if some cat left scratches there, too.

. 。・゜✭・.・✫゜・。. Was she alone? Firepaw scanned the den, to realise that she was, in fact, almost all alone. Most of the apprentices had gone out and about their days, training and whatnot. And she was over here sleeping for most of the day. Shaking her fur and having calmed down a whole lot more since waking up from the nightmare dream, she lowered her body so she was almost eye-to-eye with the young kit. She did keep her distance, however. She knew how she would often scar away little kits. She hated that.
"No need to worry about that- haha- I was just going to get up to start training, y-you know?" Firepaw offered the dark-furred kit a gentle smile. "W-What's your name?"

Darkpaw look up and the other cat could see she was sad not mad.
