"Cloudpaw!" Bumblestar's bark bounced off the trees as she stormed out of the undergrowth and planted herself between the ThunderClan apprentice and the outsider. Pissed as she was that Cloudpaw was out by himself when he really wasn't supposed to be, this threat came first.

She bared her teeth at the outsider. "You. Get the hell outta my territory before I shred you!"

Cloudpaw looked nervous at the sight of Bumblestar, but slunk behind her, letting her take care of the intruder.

"For cryin' out loud- I said out!" Bumblestar lurched forward sharply, aiming to rake her claws across the outsider's face. Cloudpaw was safe behind her, she could focus on driving this idiot out for now. "You must have a death wish!"

Ham backed away carefully, not daring to mess with this cat. As he left, me meowed, "I'm Ham by the way, and I know where one of your exiled clanmates is."

"Come on kiddo." They then said cheerfully to Antpaw.

After a moment, Skunkridge scented something. Vole.

Another try as something else! Bird.

Another fail, his face hitting only dirt.
Okay, not his day.

She then scented a squirrel.
Okay, that should be simpler.

And the squirrel is caught!

Antpaw strays from the group. Not far, just enough so that he's still visible, but it's not obvious what he's catching. In the unlikely chance he failed to catch something, he didn't want to be spotted and teased.

[Antpaw rolls a 17]

He hears a jump and pounce. Skunkridge attempted to catch a vole, but failed, sending it running into his direction. If Antpaw couldn't catch such an easy piece of prey, he would be a failure. Antpaw swiftly ends the life of the stupid vole that has come running into his paws. [+1 Vole] He buries it into the ground. That was just dumb luck. Now for some proper hunting.

[Antpaw rolls a 3 and 13]

Maybe it was the blood on his fur. He can't smell any more prey. Antpaw takes the time to lick away any traces of his previous catch from his claws and fur so that he no longer smells so obvious. He sniffs the air, smelling a squirrel.

[Antpaw rolls a 10]

Antpaw tries his best to get low on a hunting crouch. He's not experienced, and he's hesitant before his pounce. The squirrel rushes up into the branches and disappears from sight. He can't see it anymore. Antpaw grits his teeth angrily.

[Antpaw rolls a 8]

He needs to walk a while before he spots more prey. It's small, and it looks thin, but it's better than nothing. Antpaw gets closer just to make sure it's prey, and not just a weirdly shaped stone. Sure enough, it's a baby vole. Antpaw stalks it.

[Antpaw rolls a 5]

Having misjudged the distance, Antpaw crashes into the bramble. The vole is small and is quicker than he thought. It's gone in a flash, and Antpaw is left with thorns in his pelt. He spits the dirt from his mouth. It tasted like mouse bile.

Another failure. Antpaw's face twists, and he looks around to see if anyone else noticed his tumble. His eyes are dark, as if he really wants to kill anyone who saw his mistake.
