His gaze brightened at the older tom's apology and he turned to Songfeather as she approached, bounding up to the young warrior with a friendly grin, "Hello Miss Songfeather!" He had never talked to the warrior before, or most of the warriors if he was honest, but if he was going to be an apprentice very soon he was going to have to start making some connections. He wanted to get a good mentor after all. If he didn't have a good mentor then how was he going to achieve his dreams of becoming the leader of RiverClan?

The black-and-white tom sat a distance from the center of camp, quietly cleaning his pelt. He was thankful that his paw no longer hurt, and that he could finally, finally walk normally again. It had been, what, nearly a moon? Yikes.

Primrosepaw´s long, pointed ears lay flat against her head, her emerald eyes widening as she shuffled away from the medicine cat apprentice. ´´You knew?´´ The Empress mewed, her voice choked by a sob. ´´Cobwebfern, you´re telling me that you and Berryshine knew and that you didn´t tell me?´´

Primrosepaw frowned, emerald hues glistening as she turned her gaze to the soft earth beneath her. Her claws dug into the ground, sobs shaking the apprentice´s shoulders. ´´You knew, Cobwebfern, and you didn´t even think to tell me! Dewpaw´s my sister!´´

cobwebfern was.. not expecting this response. but storms had taught her to be assertive. to not let her emotions get the better of her. so instead of breaking down and blaming herself, she squared her shoulders and raised an eyebrow at primrosepaw. ' you can't tell me you're mad at me right now. i told you berry told me about dewpaw visiting her- plus you told me yourself, so why are you throwing a tantrum? ' her voice stayed soft and comforting, but her words were harsh. she did understand prim was struggling, but if she threw a tantrum over everything, she'd never become the warrior cobwebfern knew she wished to be.

Lavenderleopard settled down in a patch of sunlight, gnawing gently on a carp. She caught sight of a familiar, mottled pelt and called her Clanmate over to her.
