Yes! The flow of blood from the dog’s muzzle was a great sign! The stupid dog hadn't even raised its head above where a cat could reach! Seemed the rest of his group had good luck as well, the dog was pretty much being attacked on all angles now.

[Duskleaf rolls a 14! — Which I believe is the highest he’s ever rolled XD]

With a dive, he managed to get out of the way just in time as the dog's paw just barely missed him. Usually he wouldn’t be that lucky! Duskleaf watched as Silentstrike attempted to get onto the dog's back, and Irisfrost went for a leg. He couldn’t really see Rosehawk very well right now due to where he was. Now he was gonna try something really dangerous. Bravery if it was successful, stupidity if it wasn’t. But there was no time to consider this, he had to just act. He quickly rolled underneath the dog, and attempted to claw at its belly. He was aware of how risky this was, but if it was successful, it would be worth it. Besides, he had something to prove. In battle he’d never been the best, maybe this would be his chance to show that he was a decent fighter after all.

Wavebreaker watched longingly as his Clanmates departed the shelter of their temporary camp. He sat on the windowsill of one of the many empty twoleg dens that dotted their impermanent space. His tail dangled from the ledge and was wrung with a spiral of light brown which superseded the darker black that covered most of his body. The form of his now less gaunt leader dipped then faded beyond the horizon's glow. His orange pelt effectively invisible against the backdrop of a burning sun save for an occasional black patch. The seasoned warrior had initially begun stepping forward until he noticed his ex Irisdream volunteer for the task.

His dark blue eyes gripped her lithe form and graceful gait, not wanting to let her go on such a potentially dangerous mission alone. She had never really been much into fighting, even when they were kits. Always worried that her fine white gray fur might become mottled and attract unwanted attention from her mother Pebblestream. Which he never really did understand. She was lucky to have had a mom that cared. The large tom took in an even and heavy breath forcing his nerves to the back of his mind where it could rest in silence with his self-pity.

He slid from the ledge onto the soft grassy earth below trying to take stock of the cats left in camp. There were fewer than he would have liked, and in truth it was another big reason the broad shouldered battle ready warrior had stayed behind. She knows how to take care of herself, shes smarter than most. Besides it wasn't as if they were guaranteed to find trouble. After all their were lots of other cats with them, including Dusklion and Duskleaf to name a few of the lionhearts present within the search parties ranks.

His mind fixated unintentionally on their leader's sister. It was hard not to blame the deputy for putting them through all their recent woes. He had heard from those present at some of the earlier gatherings that the grey furred feline was accused of killing Fallownose. He hadn't been there so, Wavebreaker didn't want to judge too harshly, but he also didn't think a coalition of three angry Clans overrunning their home would be something attempted on baseless rumor. He tensed with the incoming flood of memories which caused his joints to ache subtly below the rippling muscles that stretched his dark pelt. He steeled himself, refusing to acknowledge the confusion or fear of that day. He had been out hunting, and struggled to find his battle weary Clan after the fight had already ended. This time I will be here. I won't let any enemies of RiverClan take our home from us again. Temporary or not! He was tired of not being there when his kin needed him.

He suppressed the sudden urge to snarl imagined clawing the fur off hordes of other clan cats who dared try. It took the warrior a moment to regain his composure, but once clarity did find him again the purified tom suddenly remembered the cobwebs he had gathered with Irisdream the night before. He had stashed them just below the foundation of the twoleg house nearest him. He quickly gathered up the bundle, scooping the stringy substance up with his paws gingerly placing them between his teeth. I should find Berrypaw, she might need these sooner rather than later. After that, I'll try to get Kitepaw and all the others ready to move out like Fadingstar asked. The warrior moved with brisk urgency as he searched for their only remaining medicine cat.

Wavebreaker caught Berrypaw's scent before he saw her. The small brown speckled apprentice was surrounded by cats who presumably all needed her attention. He considered calling out to her, but quickly remembered the cobwebs in his mouth as the branches they surrounded grazed his teeth. I should have guessed she would be overloaded. Without a suitable moment to break in and offer his support Wavebreaker resigned himself to simply dropping the three branches of cobwebs in a collective pile of other much needed herbs. The warrior knew he needed to ration his time, Fadingstars patrol could come back at any time. I'll come back later. I should go start gathering the others to make ready for the move.

Wavebreaker hurried off towards the nursery. Queens and kits first, the tom recited in his head in a mantra like fashion. Before he knew it the large black cat had slipped under a loose piece of wood covered by moss, which led to the nursery.

Foxleap's brown dipped ears were perked in alertness, making sure he kept his wits about him as the battles came to an end. He noticed familiar faces in different groups fighting off all 5 of the dogs. The russet tom's brown paws carried him silently across the terrain as he kept his eyes out for his group and anyone else who might need help. Per Fadingstar's orders, he would make sure he'd assist his clan however possible. Parting his jaws to taste the air, Foxleap caught the scent of his group and sighed in relief knowing that they seemed to be okay. The fox patterned tom kept himself low to the earth, creeping into a tall patch of brambles to hide himself while awaiting for further instruction.

[ I appreciate everyone's patience while I was on emergency hiatus; this event will be wrapping up on Monday so there's no more delay with the new camp. ]

Fadingstar noted that his Clanmates all went for different parts of the dog for their next attacks. A smart move, since that meant at least one or two of their attacks would land. He leapt forward and attempted to chomp down on the dog's bushy tail, hoping to break it to worsen its balance.

Group 1 results: The dog rolled a 19!

A fire must have been lit in the dog, because it turned quite ferocious quite quickly. Snarling with a deep-seated fury, it kicked its back legs out as hard as it could, feeling Rowanmane's claw-tips poke its back. It threw its hind legs back with such ferocity that it would take quite a lot of talent to hold on.

As it kicked its hind legs back, they struck Fadingstar's chest and sent
him tumbling backwards, a sharp pain shooting through him as his breath was knocked entirely from him. The dog's shifting allowed it to evade Willowtail's attack. Jaws snapping, it felt the tips of Sunsetgleam's claws disturb its fur, but no skin was broken.

It continued to try to grab Sunsetgleam with its jaws; if it succeeded, it would fling them as far as it could.

Group 2 results: The dog rolled a 3! Bean has withdrawn from this event, so you can exclude Riversnap from your mentions

The dog howled as its legs and ear were simultaneously battered. Blood started pouring down its face from the deep tear Dusklion inflicted, but it didn't have much time to process that as it was hit with repeated blows to the head.

Both Irisdream and Spiraltail's claws slashed into its legs, Spiraltail's claws having nicked its other ear as well. Their attacks weren't quite as severe as Dusklion's, but the combination had it stumbling. In a desperate attempt to keep itself a contender in this fight, it reared up on its hind legs and attempted to slam its two front paws down on Irisdream and Spiraltail simultaneously.

Group 3 results: The dog rolled a 17!

Much like the dog that Fadingstar's group was fighting, this dog definitely wasn't going to give RiverClan an easy time. It leapt out of the way of Rosehawk's attempt, trying its hardest to shake Silentstrike off in the process. It pulled its legs out of Irisfrost's range in time, but snarled as it felt Duskleaf's claws scratch its stomach.

While the wound wasn't anything too severe, it still earned Duskleaf the dog's attention for this moment. It moved to slam all of its weight directly downward; if it succeeded, it would pin Duskleaf down and attempt to grab his throat with its jaws.

Group 4 results: The dog rolled a 9!

The dog managed to roll out of the way of Pristinerose's attempt to jump on to its back. It yipped as dirt was flung into its face; before it could do anything else, it felt claws latch on to one of its front legs and slash up at its neck.

It managed to avoid any damage to its throat, but blood was now dripping down its leg. With its other paw, it swung a heavy blow at Wormbite's head.

Group 5 results: The dog rolled an 18!

Primrosepaw succeeded at sliding under the dog, but it began to move as she did so. As a result, only part of her blow landed; it did leave some scratches, but nothing significant. Her attempt to slice its nose and grab its leg failed as the dog leapt out of range.

The dog snarled at Caveclaw in response to her attempt to hit it back, moving her leg out of range. It dug its claws into the earth as Heroneye collided with it, dropping to the ground and rolling off to the side to avoid the majority of the damage from the Lionheart's claws.

Its roll caused it to avoid Lilyglide's attack as well. Leaping back to its paws, the dog charged forward and leapt, jaws open and aiming to close in a fierce bite around Lilyglide's shoulder.

Crap they spoke (thought?) too soon. The dog was much stronger than they thought at the start, it seems to have gotten itself together to overpower the ground. Did...it underestimate them..? Thought they weren't strong at all so it used less power to fight back...so now..did it realize now that the group was stronger than they look? Was that why? Was it actually using it's full power now? That could be it actually...

Their eyes widened, feeling the dog's jaws wrap around their foreleg again. This time with a much stronger grip they couldn't escape. gah, if they had known they wouldn't have done what they did. Though they didn't get much about it cause the next thing they knew was themself getting thrown to the side at a...quite considerable lenght like some simple ragdoll. A...ragdoll..
A groan escaped their maw as they picked themselves back up again, looking at the dog fighting back against their group. They...should really do something that wouldn't leg more damage to themself or the others. They looked at their leg again, seeing the wound had grown slightly as more blood trickled out.

They...didn't hear those voices now. They would've expected it to mock them for getting the ragdoll treatment from a dog of all things. Maybe it had finally left them alone for the time being. Or even better, forever (Minku didn't want to make it too repetitive if that makes sense. Be grateful, Sunset, I'm giving you a break!). They observed the dog's movements, trying to see if there was a pattern they could take advantage of here... It felt like the dog has a hidden weapon throughout it's entire body that could be used to counter them. Should they go for the neck? Should they sneak up on it and use their claws to cling on their back? But they've have to avoid it's backlegs if they do such things...they didn't want to end up like Fadingstar, to be honest. It seemed like it hurted more than what they got. They didn't want to anger the dog further and make it more hostile than it already is..they didn't want it to continue hurting their clanmates. Who's winning, and who's losing?

They care so much, but they don't know why. They took a glance at their forleg again, before charging at the dog again, trying to get their claws to claw some part of the dog. They wanted to aim and claw down the neck or the sides but the dog's movements were rather unpredictable and they were willing to aim for anything. As long as it doesn't get them bitten and flinged again. They had felt bad for attacking these dogs..but...maybe they were going to change their mind soon. Just a tiny bit. They still felt bad but their clanmates were what mattered the most here

Silentstrike had to hold on for dear life as he got closer and closer to the dog's head, hoping his claws sunk deeper and deeper into the dog as he got closer. Once he got to a specific point he lifted his head and attempted to bite down on the dog's neck with all his might.
