Brokenstream nodded in agreement with Dusklion’s warnings. She was right- aggression, no matter how deserved…, would only make the slowly healing situation worse. Turning, he swept his gaze around until he spotted his two patrol mates. ”Hey Wormbite, Rowanmane- you ready?” He called over to them, already facing the direction to the entrance of camp.

He had been resting in camp, giving himself a break from excessive work for now, especially sic e he’d been especially achey and sour recently. When he had heard patrols being called out his ears perked up with interest as he listened intently, a sigh of joy escaping his muzzle as he heard his name called. He at least slightly knew one of the cats on the patrol, the other he’d never interacted with…ever. He knew of the cats existence, he was a Lionheart after all.
He stood up when the deputy finished, flicking his tail to get a leaf stuck to it off and carefully approached BrokenStream. “Yup!” the large tom rumbled.

In all honesty, Cricket'Paw for once wasn't that energetic, after having woken up from a short sleep, it was quite a jolt to hear her name being called by the deputy. Scrambling out, she didn't bother smoothing her fur. "Hello Floodsight, I'm ready." she yawned, then smiled wide.
At the sound of her name, Rosehawk´s ears perked up. Hunting patrol. Sleepy Thicket. Adderstrike and Marshpaw. Got it.
The warrior pushed herself to her paws and stretched, jaws gaping in a yawn and showing a pink tongue. Blue eyes flicked over to Dusklion, and Rosehawk made her way over to the deputy, shouldering her way through the crowd of cats.
Sitting back as she waited on Adderstrike and Marshpaw, the RiverClanner washed a paw and ran it over her muzzle.
Marshpaw stumbled out of the apprentcies’ den and gave a huge yawn. They had stayed up late the previous night practicing their hunter’s crouch for their assessment. Marshpaw expected that assessment soon. They padded over to Rosehawk and smiled sheepishly. “Might be a ‘lil tired today.” they said, glad that sentence didn’t include any “S”s or they would have embarked themselves with their stupid lisp. Marshpaw then sat down and wrapped their tail around their paws and sighed quietly, waiting for the other cat on the patrol. Should I make conversation? Marsh was no good at social interaction.

huh. wormbite had figured the .. potent scent marking he had picked up last time had been planned. he also decided to ignore the irony of getting assigned to a patrol to the smallpines after being scolded for accidentally straying near said border. he slowly stood to his paws, bones making an array of cracking noises due to the movement. he carefully limped to the entrance, pleased to see both his patrolmates were already there. wormbite gave a dip of his head in greeting, before nodding silently to confirm he was ready.

Duskleaf had been wandering around looking for somewhere else to go right now. His first plan of sleeping in a tree didn’t go so well when he fell out of the sky and hit Wisteriawren, almost getting stung by a bee in the process. But then he heard Dusklion calling for patrols. Not knowing if he was going to be placed on one, Duskleaf made his way inside anyway because he was interested, he wanted to keep up with what was going on still.
Lionsbeach, didn’t sound too bad. He didn’t know Floodsight or Cricketpaw too well, but he never heard either of them calling for his tongue to be ripped out at his trial, so they were probably alright. Making his way over, he gave a respectful nod to both cats before sitting down. "Right, I’m ready."

Adderstrike purred to herself. She was giddy to finally be able to lead a patrol, Dusklion must have had a lot of faith in her and the warrior was going to have to make sure to not let her deputy down. And lookie lookie, everyone was already here. Fantastic! Adderstrike hated waiting forever for one cat to show up. "Good to see you Rosehawk and Marshpaw. Everyone be on their best behavoir and watch out for any dangers.... Who knows if a ghastly spirit shows up?" Adderstrike tease before she set out for the territory. Part of her wondered about that myth...
Patrols..! Wisteriawren hadn't been expecting to be sent on one - considering she wasn't that useful - but to hear that she'd been assigned to one had the ex-kittypet getting to her paws within moments and hurrying over. She couldn't be late or last to appear, not like last time. Pausing briefly to pluck a dandelion, the grey tabby slowed at Dusklion's side to offer her friend(?) a small, grateful smile along with the plucked flower before moving on.
Thankfully, only one of the cats she'd been assigned to was here. Wisteriawren knew Goldfish - from afar because of her distinct markings - to know that this wasn't the Lionheart. Which meant... "Honey..sucklebloom..?" Wisteriawren asked tentatively as she paused beside the fluffy, sunshine tabby molly. A hopeful smile spread over her face. "Uh, I'm Wisteriawren." She probably already knew that... em, but it was good to introduce oneself, right?
"I... I like your name." When had she gotten so horrible with giving compliments?
