Redmire just squinted, ears flat against her head. Why did no one around here seem to have a spine? Like, commit to something for once. Poppy...dawn? No; Poppyday. That sounded further off. Whatever, it didn't really matter, because clearly it wasn't worth the time it would take to remember. Anyway, Poppywhateverthenamewas seemed to be lacking a backbone as much as everyone else did.
"Yeah, I really didn't ask." She stood up, shaking out her forepaws in an attempt to dislodge any dirt or debris. "If you don't pick where we're going, I will."

Poppyburst´s tail tip twitched irritably. Redmire wasn´t going to earn her trust this way, but her Clanmate didn´t know that the tortoiseshell was testing her in the first place. Her forest green eyes narrowed down to slits, an undetectable emotion flickering in them. Turning her back to Redmire, the small-framed warrior headed toward the exit of the abandoned nest.
Though choosing Lionsbeach just to spite Redmire was tempting, Poppyburst wouldn't do that to the russet and black tabby. ´´I want to hunt at Haven Springs while we're still able to,´´ She called back to the other warrior without looking at her. Fadingstar said that they were dropping Haven Springs, so might as well hunt there while they still had the chance. Without looking over her shoulder to see if Redmire was following, the RiverClanner ducked between the boards of the abandoned den and headed out into the territory.

He watched as Fawnpaw rose quickly to her feet, the pale green eyes she possessed flicking away sleep with each blink. He grinned a little as she hurried over to his side. His voice was unrestrained now, but still gentle and rolling like waves for which he bore his namesake. His deep blue eyes watched his charge carefully, curiously waiting for her response.
❀ ฺ the dusty apprentice paused for a moment, briefly unsure. she didn't really know what they were doing- but she hoped it was battle training! `i believe we get up early so we'll be more of a benefit to our clan! for example, no one wants a bunch of lazy and out of shape warriors, and if there's something wrong at the borders warriors will be there to catch it before it gets bad!` she knew this wasn't exactly relevant to his question, but she'd hoped it would steer him in the direction of going out into the forest!
she sighed, looking up at him and waiting for his response. `so, what are we even doing today?` she knew she couldn't hide the excitement in her voice, and the hope that was brutally present. the hope that maybe they would go hunting, or battle training. that's what some of the other apprentices did on their first days, and maybe she would be one of them! but she also couldn't hide the looming acknowledgment that she probably wouldn't.
Brokenstream looked up in surprise as Nightshadow came barreling into the camp. He bounded up to the tom, frowning. ”What? What’s wrong? I can come on the patrol.” He offered, clearly unaware that a fox was present on the territory. ”Let’s get one more warrior like you said and head back to Dusklion.”
Nightshadow raced into camp, he skidded to a halt. "I need warriors with me now!" he yelled across the clearing. "I need a patrol with now, to make sure there aren't anymore on the territory. Dusklion is waiting right now." The black and white tom looking around the clearing waiting for anyone to join, his icy blue eyes blazed with fury. If there were more out there he would kill them.

Nightshadow dipped his head to both Brokenstream and Redmire. "Darklion wants us out on patrol with her. She just killed a fox, we need to make sure that there are not anymore." he mowed sternly. "Are you both ready?" his icy blue eyes moved from Brokenstream to Redmire.

Primrosepaw was growing tired of having to sit in the den, and she still had half a moon in
the new camp! This isn't fair. With a huff, the apprentice pushed herself into a sitting
position, her emerald eyes narrowing down to slits.

The apprentice yelped, feeling tiny claws sink into her back. The apprentice rolled over onto her side, attempting to shake Petalkit off, a purr rumbling in her throat. ´´Well, hey there, Petalkit!´´
