“Oh, ya do now?” she took a deep breath and sighed as they entered the territory of ShadowClan (next post in territory). “Birds are quite difficult, I’ll see what I can teach ya though…” y’know what else was difficult? Having an apprentice. A whole new list of responsibilities for the next 6 or so moons. She thought she’d take a break after SpiderPaw got his warrior name, but it seemed she had a list of kits lined him huh?

'What to do today? Hmmm... just what to do?' Palepaw had initially thought once he'd become an apprentice he could do whatever he wanted, and go wherever he pleased. But because of his lack of territory tour down in his repertoire. The small diluted calico tom had worried he'd get lost and be unable to come back. Of course, he can scent his way back. But what if he stray too far. He'd better ask a warrior to take him out. Maybe even teach him something new.
In the clearing, he spotted a large molly with green eyes that held flecks of gold, and fur colour, of which was quite similar to his. Except he was mostly...white. Curious to who she was, Palepaw had padded up to her with sparkles in his eyes. "Hi! Whatcha up to?"
"Oh wait, I should introduce myself...I'm Palepaw! I was Palekit recently, but I'm Palepaw now!" He spoked brightly as he stood tall with his chest puffed proudly.

Ahh, a nice afternoon with nothing going on—
"Hi! Whatcha up to?"
Briarsplash raised her head, her brow cocked as she saw a somewhat-similar pelted young cat prance over to her with a cheery greeting. He was definitely a brand new apprentice (which he confirmed a moment later by stating his recent promotion) judging by the sparkle-eyed look, his puffed-out chest of excited confidence, and the remains of that last stage of kithood still reminiscent on his features here or there.
The fluffy she-cat sniffed a bit, taking in the apprentice's demeanor before she rather stiffly (though not impolitely) nodded her head once. "...Uh, hello," she finally meowed in her surprisingly softer, raspy tone, a contrast to her bulkier size. "...Briarsplash. Enforcer," she added after a moment, a rather ungraceful but still obligatory response to introduce herself.
She flicked her plumed tail as she sized up the recent apprentice again, realizing he was sticking around, genuinely wanting to see what she was up to. Uh, nothing important, and that was exactly the point. Couldn't he see that? Briar let out a huff and glanced around, as if trying to see if his mentor was around. "You, uh... whaddya want, kid?" She rasped gruffly; not exactly hostile, but not friendly either. Just a bit annoyed as if the enthusiastic apprentice was interrupting her 'me time'... which he was.
