Grinning to herself, Weevilkit continued chasing after the leaf. She got on her hind paws to try to bat it out of the air, but that only sent the leaf further. "Oops," she muttered, watching as the breeze carried her target upwards.

She dropped to a crouch, watching the leaf intently as it danced lower and lower, before pouncing into the air to catch it!

Weevilkit caught it, but she didn't account for her landing and took a face full of grass. "Got it," she mewed triumphantly, shaking herself before checking under her paws. Wait, the leaf was gone! Where'd it go? She looked around and under her paws again, but their prey had somehow got away. "Oh. Guess I don't got it..."

Snowpaw continued chasing the leaf, when she saw the other kit pouncing it. She bounded over. "You did??" she replied in excitement. Peering over Weevilkit, she saw what the kit saw. "Awh, don't worry!" She reassured Weevilkit. "We can go find another leaf! Oh wait," she added, as if just remembering something, "I don't know your name! I'm Snowpaw," she said, smiling at the other cat. She loved making new friends! "Can we be friends? That would be so cool! We could play more! And we can find another leaf! Together!" she said with great enthusiasm, not pausing for Weevilkit to answer the first question.

Orangepaw's eyes narrowed a little due to the bright rays, but he didn't blink yet.
He was not cleaning out the elder's den for a reason like this!

Was Mudhound trying to smack talk?
Ha, well obviously he has to do it back at them!
"No, you're gonna lose!" He said with(definitely misplaced) confidence.
Oh, ew!
He wasn't pulling out ticks either!
That would surely mess up his pelt horribly!

He started to respond again, but then came the last little jab that probably wouldn't bother most cats.
But this is Orangepaw we're talking about.

"Squirrel-butt!?" The small apprentice gawked, his gaze immediately moving the from sun without realizing it as he looked at Mudhound with an appalled expression and his tail straightened for once.

Oh oooooowwwwww this was really starting to hurt and Mudhounds eyes were overwhelmed with tears, not that those eyes could really see as the sun blinded them. Wiggling in place the tripod couldnt help but whine uncomfortable as they struggled to not blink, sooooooo close to breaking and- HA ORANGEPAW LOOKED AWAY!


Struggling to not blink as they ensured their victory a large paw leveled at the apprentice, hornet crowing a victorious "HA YOU TURNED AWAY! I WIIIIINNNNN!!!" before finally turning away as soon as Orangepaw realized his loss. "Oh stars damn that hurts ek!" still unable to see the tripod blinked several times to clear their vision finally squeezing them shut to try and recover.


"Ya dont have to clean the elders den actually, I just wanted someone to play with me really hehe. Thanks for trying though next time, head in the game yeah? Byyyeeeeee." Aaaand there Mudhound went again, (blindly this time) zooming through the clearing still full of energy. The clan was still not spared their energy yet.

Almost immediately, Weevilkit was overwhelmed by the younger cat's great enthusiasm. The brown she-cat had opened her mouth to answer the first question, but then Snowpaw, as she introduced herself as, continued talking a mile a minute. Friends? Weevilkit knew of the concept, but she never really had one of her own. Friends seemed like a nice thing to have.

"I'm, uh, Weevil... kit," she almost forgot her new ThunderClan name as she responded with a reluctant smile. She wasn't the best at talking; in fact, most of her interactions with other cats were them chasing her off their territory, but this white cat seemed so good at socializing! Maybe it would rub off on Weevilkit too, eventually. Nodding at the snow white she-cat, she managed to smile a bit more genuinely. "S-Sure! I'd like to be friends!"

Nightwhisper padded to the clearing from the medicine den, seeing Acornfall he padded over, "Acornfall? I have a.... uhm question." Nightwhisper meowed to the fellow tom, a little bit awkward as he shuffled his paws. "I uh, so I checked on my kits," Nightwhisper paused, swallowing to hold back his emotions, "And... uhm cinderkit just isn't getting better, Skykit is stable at least. But Hollowpaw needs me to get Catmint for them. Are you willing to come with me?" Nightwhisper meowed, spotting Burnedpaw he flicked his tail to call the apprentice over, they'd worked together before, repairing the nursery. "Burnedpaw, I'm going to collect Catmint for the kits in the medicine cat den, want to come along?" Nightwhisper mewed, "You can ask your mentor if needed."

"Excuse me." Mountaintalon stepped up next to his daughter and tried to get her attention with a light swat of his tail against her flank. He'd seethed for long enough; a conversation was in order. "I need to speak to you. Now."

See, Shockhoney would have been all excited about her papa addressing her, but Mountaintalon's tone of voice just had her stomach doing anxious flips. She didn't even know her insides could do that! "Me?" No, duh, her. "I mean, okay, I'm here. Wherever! Are we talking here? Oh, this is actually the only place we can go, since we're in lockdown... um, we're not leaving camp, are we?"

Acornfall lifted his head when he heard his name, immediately a wide grin spreading on his maw. "Hey Nightwhisper!" He greeted, reaching out to touch noses with his friend. "What's up?" He listened as his friend posted his question, touching his brown-tipped tail to his friend's shoulder when he mentioned the kits. Without hesitation, Acornfall nodded. "Of course, my friend! I'll help you gather catmint." He vowed.

"Was there anything else Hollowpaw asked for?" He asked, he wanted to make sure they had enough paws.

Burnedpaw lifted his dark reddish-brown head when he heard his name come from a familiar muzzle. Burnedpaw rose to his paws and padded over to the two toms. "I don't think Hawkthorn would mind." He answered with a shrug. Truthfully, Hawkthorn would probably be grateful. He was fairly certain that his mentor's mate was possibly expecting...maybe. Not that it was his business. "Should we grab another?" He asked, echoing Acornfall's concerns about having enough cats.

Nightwhisper listened to Acornfall, purring wordlessly, his eyes gleaming in gratitude, "He needed wet moss but I've already brought that. I was thinking while we grab the catmint, we can grab any Elder flowers we find on the way if we can carry them" Nightwhisper mewed, nodding to the apprentice. "Alright then. I think the 3 of us will be fine."

"Awesome!" Snowpaw's smile was warm and friendly. a new friend!!! "What do you want to do first?" she asked brightly. "Find another leaf? Something else? Ooh, I have some games for us to play, unless you have some as well!" Games were so fun, but she'd do whatever Weevilkit wanted to do. She just likes being with other cats, and Weevilkit seemed nice!
