He sat across from her, tail neatly tucked around his paws. Her words were all fine and well, but.. "I'm gonna need to know more about you before I decide if you can join or not."

Acacia looked at the tom. "well...." she trailed off with a sigh her ears going back. "My mother died while kitten, lost my uncles and aunts to a dog pack. My father was the one who raised me...but he was recently taken as well." she said looking up at him. "I have no one or no where to go. My dad told me the stories of the clans..."

"Most cats start with a name." Wolfhive wasn't going to hide the mild amusement at her oversight. "What do you mean 'taken'? By Twolegs? 'N do you know how he knows of the Clans?" It wasn't that uncommon for outsiders to know, but he was curious.. some cats were former Clan cats after all.
