Starrykit almost flinched when a tail tip touched her shoulder, so she withdrew back a little bit against the nursery walls and turned her gaze against the mysterious cat. His name, his name... yes, she was sure she'd heard it... Maybe Adderpaw? Urgh...
She stayed silent as usual, listening Adderpaw talking about Aspensplash. The cat name he'd heard so much being talked in a very negative way. A killer, dangerous...
But this cat had misunderstood something. She gazed back for a moment, waiting for Elderkit to show up and fix the situation. WHat was she supposed to do? The real reason she was so upset wasn' because of the traitor, but because of Mistyshard's pregancy.
The reality was, she felt lonely without her sister. This time, she didn't want this clanmate to go away, but how could she express what she felt inside? Words didn't work for her.
She shook her head, then fixed her gaze on Mistyshard for a very long time. Adderpaw was free to comment anything in the meanwhile, but Starrykit was communicating very strongly what she was thinking about.
Primrosepaw

Primrosepaw met her mentor´s green gaze with an emerald one of her own. ´´Alright, but we should listen to what Fadingstar has to say before he closes,´´ She murmured, pressing her maw to Adderstrike´s shoulder.
Primrosepaw is a RiverClan Apprentice and is being trained by Adderstrike. If she is needed, mention me. Pondpaw (formerly Cascadepaw) is a ShadowClan (formerly RiverClan) Apprentice and is being trained by Tuftedtusk, a ShadowClan Enforcer. If she is needed, mention me.
Primrosepaw has Fast Learner Tier 1.
Pondpaw has Silver Tongue Tier 2, Kitty Softpaws Tier 2, and Mind Reader.
A fit of coughing caught Irisfrost's attention, and she turned her head to see it was Weepingpaw who was wheezing. On the Starpoint, Fadingstar noticed too, and commanded them to go to the medicine den and rest.
The first news the leader went over was the incident Irisfrost was all too familiar with. That traitor had tried to kill Fadingstar- and had almost succeeded, as evident by his haggard appearance. If the traitor was found she should be dragged to Dusklion to be killed; an order she agreed with. Traitors shouldn't run free. She had tried to take a life, and now hers would be taken in return. She wouldn't be able to hurt any more cats. Irisfrost just hoped she would be found and executed soon.
There were additional safety measures being taken. Lionhearts would be stationed outside the nursery and medicine den at all times, and everyone was expected to report any suspicious behaviour to a high rank. That was fair. They couldn't afford any more attacks or rebellions.
Then Fadingstar announced that Mistyshard was stepping down. The news wasn't surprising; Irisfrost knew she had been absent around camp. She would remain in the clan as long as she didn't slack off on her warrior duties. That should be the expectation for all warriors, really. If you didn't pull your weight, you shouldn't be in a clan.
It was unfortunate that Berrypaw would be RiverClan's sole medicine cat, though. She was so young, with the weight of healing a clan on her shoulders. Cats her age shouldn't have to deal with that. But then, she was just the latest in a long line of apprentices in charge of healing. She hoped Berrypaw would handle it better than some of the others.

Redwater looked up with a flinch. Another warrior. No. A Lionheart. The one she had spoken to the day every hope, every dream, everything left of her had been shattered and scattered on the hard ground. Goldfish.
She had kind words. She spoke to Red about her fur. Redwater had always prided her fur, the deep russet, the blood-red that made her noticeable. Different. Goldfish complimented it. She should probably talk now. ”T-thank you. Thank you. Y-your fur is pretty too.” Red murmured. And of course, that’s when the memories decided Oh yeah! It’s our turn! Redwater’s mother had been a deep red. Her fur had been silky, and smooth. And—shutupshutuoshutup Red squeezed her eyes closed.
Her leader talked. That was why she was here, wasn’t it. Mistyshard resigned. Interesting. Had a medicine cat ever resigned before? How strange. Red forced one eye open. She wasn’t the only one feeling the slippery emotion of surprise. But definitely the only one feeling the heavy emotion of sadness. She looked at the ground. Her sore paws. Focus on them. She did.

Dusklion had recovered, but Fadingstar was looking starsawful as he began to speak. The Ace of Spades was no fool. Something was going on. Something sinister. Something bad. The medicine den and nursery, kept under guard. Ashensplash. They were on lockdown in their own camp. Trust nobody. Keep your guard up. No matter how nice their pelt looked. How sober they were. How relatable, how kind, how Trustworthy. Trust. No. Cat. Nowhere is safe. All these thoughts were violently clouding Goldfish’s proper judgement as she heard him speak. The tortoiseshell shook her head violently for a moment' squeezing her eyes shut before opening them with a tight sigh. Oh..? No. Not again. Thoughts and memories choked her for a moment. Larkstar. Birdsnow. T a n s y p a w. Now Mistyshard. Would it ever end? Would the damn list end? Would Riverclan ever be stable again? It gave the molly a headache just thinking about it. It made her feel sick. If only she enjoyed herbs or felt good about them she would do it.
Oh, dear stars. It was for nothing.
Mistyshard being medicine cat. Minks. Running. Away. It was all for good and DAMN NOTHING! Goldfish wanted to scream. To attack. Something in her claws, blood on her paws, her own, someone else's. She didn't know how to say all these feelings and emotions out loud. Minks would still be here, she wouldn't wouldn't a selfish good for nothing rat. She had always been selfish. She saw that now. Minks hadn't wanted things for the clan, she wanted things for her. Why was the ground moving? What..? She blinked and shook her head but the ground was swirling below her paws. Her breathing sped up, heart rate excellerated. Calm down, calm down. Deep breaths. Closing her eyes to press back the feelings and thoughts, Goldfish violently dug her claws into the earth so hard she began shaking until she realized she had stopped breathing. Redwater had spoken, but when? The Ace of Spades was uncertain and couldn't think straight right now. She had to focus. To stay calm. To relax. To breathe. Yes. Deep breaths.
Slowly she relaxed and opened her eyes. "Sorry about that, Rive- ha! Sorry, not River,, I meant Redwater. I don't know where that came from." What in the world, Goldfish, get your act together. With a small purr of laughtershe continued speaking. "Redwater. Thank you. Sorry, I kind of just.. wasn't thinking straight. Got a touch of a nasty memory. One of those you just can't stop remembering, you know? Sorry, I don't want to bore you or anything. Its nithing remotely interesting after all.""Only my traitor daughter." She didn't add that part however. No need in crying over eaten prey. It was nothing interesting really. Just.. just things that make her blink and clear the memories away.

The brown warrior looked over and spotted a pretty molly sitting nearby, might as well talk to her !! The brown tom bounced on over, humming a soft tune before seating himself next to her. "Hiya!" he chirped. "I'm Riversnap! What's your name?"

Amberwing listened closely, trying to even understand everything that'd been going on over the past.... Starclan knows how long. The least she could do was stay out of their way.

As the ship roared past, I stayed. As I had come. Lost. Alone. Empty.
Somewhere. Something. Had brought me here. But what?
Thank the stars, no significant outbursts had occurred. There seemed to be some sort of stir between Redmire and Waterhawk, but Dusklion quickly handled it.
"Before I conclude this meeting, there's one more thing I want to say. We won't be telling the other Clans of Mistyshard's resignation until a replacement medicine cat has been found. I don't want to make us seem weak and vulnerable the second we return to our normal territory. Right now, it's very important that we seem stable.
"At the upcoming Gathering, I'll tell the other Clans that Mistyshard stayed behind to tend to a recently-wounded Clanmate that needed close care. I expect that everyone here will follow along with that story. If I found out that someone here blabbed to another Clan that Mistyshard resigned, you'll be executed for treason. There is zero reason that the other Clans need to know about this until we have a new medicine cat."
Would some see his promise of execution too harsh? Probably. He'd considered permanent exile, but then that same cat could run and spill more secrets to another Clan. Confining them to camp or demoting them was too light of a punishment. So, execution it was.
With that said, this meeting was at its end. "Meeting dismissed. If anyone has any questions or concerns, come find me."
With effort, he half-leapt, half-stumbled off the ledge and retreated toward the medicine area to (hopefully) rest.
[ Just to reiterate what Fading said, if anyone tells someone from another Clan about Mistyshard's resignation, I'll be seeking HR PP perms to have them killed.

Dewpaw wasn't surprised in the slightest. She flicked her tail, wandering off to the apprentices den to get some sleep.
Seakit frowned, what did executed mean? She'll ask her mama about it later. The kit waddled off to the nursery.
Nightshadepelt's eyebrows rose slightly at the word 'executed'. He wondered who was stupid enough to even try to tell the other clans about this. With meeting ending, he stood and made his way to the warrior den to sleep.
Plumshade sat and listened to the meeting nodding her head agreeing with the leaders words , the black she cat stood up stretching as she dipped her head to the former med cat "Take care dear you served the clan well" she mewoed kindly before walking off. a new med? she thought the warrior thought what if she was in the role? what then plum never thought about being a healer nor ever really had a reason to but if baby Starclan mercy she was picked what then? she didn't know she had no clue but if that time came she would take the role and do her best...she cleared her mind thinking about the sound of rain to clear her mind like always before she went to lay down for a short nap closing her amber eyes
