The grey molly yawned as she sat in the middle of the clearing, wrapping her feathery tail over her paws neatly. It was a pleasant evening, and she wanted to make the most of it. Even if it had been decided that she would never serve her clan in battle, there were other ways to be of use. Such as training her apprentices. Wispypaw already had training by the time she was assigned to Raspberryswirl, and the warrior was regretful that they hadn't worked together more often since then.
"Wispypaw!" she called gently, angled towards the apprentice's den. "Come on out, let's go hunting." She hadn't been in a while, and the cover of night would prove an interesting challenge. Of course, Wispypaw was blind so perhaps it would matter as much, but Raspberryswirl could still think of several ways in which it would make a difference.

Who in the living hell could be calling out for them this late in the day, their day had been quiet lately, the way they liked it. Wispypaw out to deny their demands for a lesson, but chose not to do so, not if it brought the paw closer to getting away from the overcrowded den. Though to be fair, they didn't sleep in the den, not with all the filth and stupidity inside of it don't get them started on how it's crowded. "Lucky that I want to get out of this den already" they muttered slowly getting to their paws from the little corner they claimed as their nest. One thing they would be thankful for is that the warrior at least wasn't being unnecessarily loud with their steps, thinking that the paw needed some form of aid to do a simple task of following. Apparently, others forget that wispypaw was fully capable of trailing after scents and listening for subtle sounds, no need to be loud for them to hear steps.

Owlthroat smirked, almost choking on the laughter that burst from his throat. ”No, certainly not this one. She needs running from Shadowclan, a sorry excuse.” He laughed but his words were laced with venom.
”The other’s an outsider, pains me she has a place here. But I suppose you might always have better luck than I do.” Owlthroat quite frankly couldn’t wait to be rid of the pair of them, take on a youngster with a bit more challenge and actual intelligence about them.

Had she eaten? Doeflame cast her mind back, trying to remember if she had. No memory came to mind, but she wasn't hungry, and she trusted her stomach more than her mind. Her memories could be a bit useless sometimes, especially with things like that. If she'd eaten she'd eaten; there was no need to remember what type of prey she'd had or whether it tasted good.
"I think so," Doeflame said. "But I'll hunt with you. I haven't been out of camp for ages; I want to stretch my legs. Have you been to the new bits of territory yet?"
