The announcements werent anything the hornet didnt know but they really wished Bumble-sis had announced new hornets asap! They were already exhausted finding and escorting that dog away from thunderclan and then the fox fight and this was gonna increase the burden tenfold given now every single outing outside either required their presence or permission. And Mudhound knew full well if they sent out a patrol that got hurt because it was too small/inexperienced to defend themselves or lead by someone too stupid to know when to run the results would be on their head.
So no one was getting permission to be free from even the squishiest hornet unless they were sure to be smart! Which at the moment seemed like a tall order.
The tripod sighed, scooping Wolfpaw close as he padded over and explained "Sometimes clan life just gets dangerous kiddo. It'll quiet down eventually but until then we're being smart and safe. I promise you me and Woofie and Spider-dude and Bumble-sis and all the best warriors have plans for all these dangers and are working on it so you just need to focus on the camp and stuff."
And take Mudhound if he EVER wanted to leave camp before things cooled off because the tripod was loosing another herby friend (especially their puppy) to a predator OVER THEIR DEAD BODY.
"And its sad but this has nothing to do with deserving. Its just life sometimes and you and I know more then most its not always fair but just happens anyways. The best of cats are made stronger by it though so I can promise the clan will come out of it stronger."
And hopefully with some more battle tested hornets BUMBLESTAR, NUDGE NUDGE WINK WINK!

Honeypetal heard a meeting being called, which startled him from his sleep. He padded over.
Strawberryfur
Strawberryfur noticed Honeypetal join late and immediately bounced up and bounded over. “Honeypetal! Honeypetal!” She called, skidding to a halt in front of her friend. “Did you hear? There’s a ton of predators around and stuff and now we’re on lockdown until further notice!” She mewed in a rushed, anxious voice. She would never say that Bumblestar’s announcement hadn’t unnerved her, that would lying. And she wanted to make sure Honeypetal knew about it so he could stay safe.
Most cats seemed largely dissatisfied. Well, tough - they could blame their idiot Clanmates for getting them trapped in camp.
"For training, I recommend finding an out-of-the-way place in camp," Bumblestar said, tone clipped. "If you have questions, come find me. If you just wanna whine, go find a rock. I guarantee you it'll care more than I will."
With a lash of her tail, she leaped down from the Stormcrest, signaling the end of the meeting.
Chasmkit was pretty much unaffected by the lockdown. She yawned and then licked her maw. Actually, Bumblestar was standing on a huge rock. It was better to be safe than sorry. She got up and stretched her legs.
