The glare Bumblestar shot Finbranch could have killed him if she'd willed it. Usually she had more patience, but everything happened had it worn as thin as it was capable of being. “Shut up ‘n sit down. I didn't call you out here to be bombarded with questions I'm already planning on answering.”

With a low growl, she lifted her head again to address the Clan, words sharp, pointed, and leaving no room for argument. “There's been a ridiculous amount of predator-related threats on our land as of late, ‘n I'm sick ‘n tired of cats lacking basic common sense. So far there's been encounters with an owl, vultures, foxes, Twoleg traps, a badger, a hawk, strange outsiders, a dog, ‘n apparently now we're adding a pack of coyotes onto that. Due to Darkecho’s negligence, who’s since been exiled for it, Fleckpaw ‘n Appleleap are dead. You lot apparently can't use your heads ‘n play it safe, so here's what's gonna happen.

“We're on lockdown. No one is to go in or out of camp unless you have permission from me, Spiderthroat, or one of my Hornets. Otherwise you need a Hornet escort. If you choose to be stupid ‘n leave anyway, that's on you ‘n you'll suffer the consequences. I don't care if you end up scratched, mauled, near death, or perfectly fine - every single cat who leaves this camp without permission or an escort will either be demoted or exiled for as long as I feel like it. ‘N if you let someone in your group get hurt, I might feel like givin’ you the exact same injuries to teach you a lesson.” She scraped her claws against the stone to amplify the threat. “Do not test me. I already have enough to worry about without adding idiotic antics to the top of that list.”

Due to a vast increase in predator sightings and related deaths, Bumblestar has placed the camp on LOCKDOWN until the threats are dealt with. No one is allowed out of camp unless given IC permission by a High Rank or Hornet, regardless of group numbers, or without a High Rank or Hornet escort. Those who break this rule will be demoted, exiled, or physically punished depending on the results of their outing, regardless of the group’s rank or status upon their return.

Cypress’paw padded out hurriedly to join his Clanmates beneath bumblestar, his ears flat in concern. Why are they covered in blood!? he thought worriedly. Were they being attacked!? He listened as Bumblestar explained everything, the camp was on LOCKDOWN!? And Dark’echo was EXILED!? Cypress’paw shuddered. It was his greatest fear to be shamed by his clan, he would not dare to do anything to rub bumblestar the wrong way. He looked around at his clansmtes, they seemed to be equally shocked and concerned.

At the mention of all the threats, she side-eyed Mountaintalon. She was part of the problem. That was fine! Still, the tom would be able to see the light-hearted embarrassment in her golden eyes. Bumblestar was right, though. The death of two cats was troubling to hear...

But then.... Lockdown.

Oh. Oh no. NOOOOOOO. She was gonna lose her mind! Go stir crazy!!! The she-cat's fur bristled on the back of her neck and she shifted in place uncomfortably. Cedarstrike was already restless. The peace and quiet of the wilderness- RIPPED FROM HER PAWS. Terrible news. Terrible.

"No more late night excursions for me..." She murmured, loud enough for Mountain to hear but softly enough that it was no disturbance.

Seakit listened from inside the medicine den. She was happy they were on lockdown now. Not everyone looked happy about it though. "If only I wasn't that close the hawk wouldn't grab me...." She whispered.

He just got apprenticed at the last meeting, and now he couldn't even go out to train now?

Ugh, whatever, it's fine.
He didn't wanna get eaten anyway.

There were probably ways to train inside camp.

A lockdown was damn well needed at this point. The crew was trying to wrangle in the threats, but when dealing with a bunch of buffoons causing more problems, it was becoming near-impossible to handle everything effectively.

Wolfhive was silent, grim-faced as he stared at the crowd. Cats could pout all they want - if a partner system wasn't enough to keep cats alive, then they could be kept in camp til things were more situated.

Brackenclaw would listen although in his mind he didn't agree with the decision. Doing something like this would stretch the Hornets so thin that they would never be able to handle the threats that were causing the exact lockdown. Still Brackenclaw was in no position to argue not to mention Bumblestar seemed pretty wound up at this time. Arguing with her would be pointless instead Brackenclaw would have to just trust the Bumblestar knew better than him being leader and all maybe there was something that he was missing. So instead Brackenclaw just listened silently to his leaders orders processing them as he did.

Basilkit winced as she was reminded of the dog encounter, her leg had scabbed over but she gained trama from the dog, her and her mom walked away.

Vulturewhisper genuinely thought that idea was foolish, lockdown for the camp?! They weren't kits anymore, mouse-brain! But alas, he kept his muzzle shut tight only speaking one sentence. “Annnnnnd what do we do if a coyote, dog, badger, vulture or whatever else discovers the camp, get mauled alive?" The last section had a bit of underneath sarcasm to it. (Open to anything and everything)
