Vinepaw nudged Honeypetal with her paw. Honeypetal! What are we gonna do? Where are we going? Are we training NOWWWW?! She babbled and bounced up and down. My first training session! Vinepaw meowed happily. Excited, excited, excited! I bet I'l catch a giant mouse! Oh, just wait until I see the look on my dear rival's face. She muttered to herself and looked up at Honeypetal. Can we go now? Vinepaw complained.

Honeypetal giggled, amused by her apprentice's unusual optimism. "Easy there," he said with a smile. "I planned on doing hunting training today, so we're off to find somewhere to train."
After not too long, Honeypetal found a field of grass that was just enough space to train. Perfect! she thought. "Here, we can train here."
Honeypetal sat down in front of their apprentice. "Today, I'll be teaching you about some battle techniques." Honeypetal cleared their throat, prepared to explain these techniques to their young apprentice.
"Firstly, remember that the most vulnerable parts are the ones to target on your enemy, and the ones of your own to protect. These are the eyes, stomach, face, throat, and spine. These are the best places to attack your opponents if you want to be efficient. Clawing at one's stomach, eyes, or throat is especially effective. You can also kick your opponent in the throat to knock the wind out of them."

Vinepaw followed Honeypetal to the spot and sat down in front of them. She listened for a while and repeated the information, Stomach, eyes, and throats. Vinepaw thought. What about.. Tails or ears? She asked, trying to make a smart remark. Would attacking those be useful?

"Really, if you can attack any part of the body correctly, your good to go. However, aiming for the more vulnerable parts would come out as more effective. But, for example, if you can claw off enough of your opponent's ear, you can hinder their ability to hear or even deafen them, giving you an advantage. Hindering their use of their tail can also make it difficult, if not impossible to use tail signals in battle, and tail signals are quite important in many cases."

Vinepaw nodded. Let's start! She meowed and backed away to a safe position.
Honeypetal nodded. "Okay then. Just remember, claws outstretched, and swipe, got it? We'll do a little spar to begin with today, nothing serious."
