Oh, there we was. Bumblestar tossed Wolfpaw a shrug at his apology. "You're fine, just let us know if you want us to slow down for you. You can come look for marigold with me."

Since Raggedear had already found yarrow, by the looks of it, the other plant was the only thing they were missing. She gave the tom an approving nod before waving Wolfpaw along with her to search. It didn't take her long to find some, near the edge of the ravine.

"Careful you don't fall," she muttered to Wolfpaw as she stooped down to snag a few.

How the heck did raggedear find his herb so quickly? As Wolfpaw followed bumblestar, he couldn't help but feel uneasy. Not like a tree caused him to loose a limb or something. Except that was true. He turned his head as Bumblestar managed to find some marigold... on the edge of a ravine. He debated for a second before sheepishly crawling over. Dont fall dont fall dont fall dont fall dont fall, he thought to himself, lowering his head to grab a mouthful. Once he had collected his share, he bounced away as quick as he could, using his tail to balance himself once he stopped. "Got mine!" he said through a mouthful of herbs.

ThunderClan's border. She border was laced with a strange scent subtly reminding her of the smell of oak leaves, much different from the smell of pines that marked her home. Over the stretch of land Sleepysunrise looked towards both her younger siblings as they moved, ensuring their presence and well-being towards the border. Mirepaw's scream still rung in her ears clear as day last she had been on patrol with mama, a churning and uncomfortable feeling left to reside within her stomach, one she desperately tried to rid herself of, and avoid at all costs.
"Herondive Hollow. Stay close."
She told the pair with a glance much different from one she would give her clanmates; one that was less distant, more attentive, before stepping forth. Stretching her cheek past a nearby tree trunk the youngest enforcer began marking the border as instructed, all the while keeping an eye on her siblings.

Herondive Hollow... the border ShadowClan shared with ThunderClan. Cinderpaw had heard stories about the feuds between the two clans, but things seemed relatively peaceful ever since they drove out RiverClan. So that was ok. Cinderpaw keeps her head down as she silently follows Sleepysunrise and Quillpaw.

arriving at herondive hollow, quillpaw surveys the territory with mild interest. eyes flickering from the creek to sleepysunrise as she speaks up, giving a curt nod. "alright." which, he's sure he can defend himself if anything happens, he can't blame the enforcer's wariness considering mirepaw's kidnapping. speaking of..he can't help but wonder how many of his littermates are left. it seems all of them are either disappearing or dying. the realization leaves a weird feeling in his chest that he doesn't like. ew. moving on.

seeing his older sister rub her cheek across a tree trunk, quillpaw decides to copy her and do the same. he glances at cinderpaw, raising a brow at her dejected nature. "you're quiet." he comments flatly.

Silently marking along the border, preferring to do so in a group rather than splitting up seen the recent circumstances, Sleepysunrise looked towards her siblings as only a mere few words were spoken through the air. While it appeared that Quillpaw was mimicking the way she marked these lands - herself a mimic of what she had seen Miss Grandmama and other warriors do under her watch - she noticed that Cinderpaw did not do the same. Did Cinderpaw not know how to mark a border? She wondered, briefly stopping in her tracks as she considered how to address this situation. She didn't want to wrongly assume, that would be rude, but she didn't want to leave her siblings without guidance either. Perhaps it was her soul-piercing and imploring gaze that lingered on them, silently willing the pair to pay attention to her following moved when, after several seconds, she slowly and deliberately moved to mark the border in differing ways that were presented to her, hoping they would both catch on to what to do, or ask if need be. That said, only a little further and they were likely finished with their task - they could soon return and report back.

Quillpaw's words give the black tabby pause for a moment. Of course she was quiet? She hadn't spoken a word since they were all four moons old... was Quillpaw just noticing this now?? Yes, they weren't all that close, and she couldn't remember the last time he'd even looked in her direction let alone spoke to her, but still.

"Do you have a problem with that?" She stops in her tracks to sign at him, expression very pointed as she did so even as half her attention was still on Sleepysunrise and the way she pressed herself against some places along the border... Cinderpaw did the same, not really understanding but at the same time unwilling to ask.
