Jesse watched ants march in a line, every so often raising a paw to crush an unlucky one.

Pale blue eyes scanned the clearing, lifting to the sky, to the sun shining above their head. She had been hiding, for the last few days. Or weeks. Skies above, how long had it been? A paw lifted of it's own accord to the nasty, still-healing scar on her face, to the ear that was tattered, and Diamond shrank slightly with shame.
Younger sister to the Crown, and she was just as worthless, just as pathetic as always. The slender molly swallowed roughly, clenching her jaw and grinding her teeth. Heart of gold, everyone told her. Words sweeter and more pure than honey. She didn't want to be that anymore, weak and helpless and easily overpowered. But would that be the role she'd always have to play?

Her paws poked around their older sibling's shoulders as she received a badger ride from the older feline. Nephele shot up a glare at their baby sister, still too young to wander camp all alone in their opinion. Their ears flickered. "Quit poking around Athy, you'll fall off."
But looking unimpressed, Reverie stuck out their tongue and threw up her paws in defiance and a show of stubbornness... Until she unceremoniously toppled off, Nephele whipping around with a worried look. "Athy!"
Nephele exclaimed, hovering over the young as the claw helped her back to her paws. "I'm fine, Nele. I don't break that easily."
Said the young one as she shook the dust off her paws with a knit between her brows, Nephele huffing as she bent down to help Reverie clean up.
As The Traveler's golden green eyes blinked open, the voices surrounded her once again. Not the usual voices and noises, but other cats. Yes, that's right. She's in the... the Atari. The Initiate couldn't help but feel uneasy about this place. She didn't have the best reputation with groups. After what had happened to Flutter. Paw. Flutterpaw was her name now, wasn't it? Or it was. The memory of seeing her grave had changed something in Moth. Voices and noises surrounded her. Cornered her from all sides. Laughing. Heavy breathing. Snarls and growls. Dark, evil noises. Deathly noises. A stiff swallow, then She rose to her paws, stretching each leg in turn. Then her back. The noises of other cats helpfully muted any horrible hauntings for the most part. Not completely but enough that the reached sounds in her head would leave her alone. Or so it seemed. As she exitedthe den, a hollow giggle sounded from behind her. Nobody was there. Breathe, Moth. Breathe. She found herself sitting near a rock, stiff and rather uncomfortable looking. She casted a Glance to a nearby cat sunning. A tiny smile, then she decided it would be best to observe for now. To hope and prey the damn voices would leave her alone today.

...Eyes on him. He didn't like it.
Ozymandias angled his head to lock stares with his observer. Truthfully, he hadn't spent much time getting to know his groupmates. He wasn't used to staying with such a large gathering of cats, and some of them struck him as a bit unsettling. With disdain pulling at the corners of his mouth, he rose from his sunning spot.
"You're staring," he said flatly as he approached her. "That's very rude."
