death sucks, whats new? [p]

This many dream visits in a short amount of time was surprisingly draining. Sootkit had no idea how cats who visit living cats every other night could stand it. Maybe he was doing something wrong? Or perhaps its easier if you visit the same cats.. he sighed, he didnt really need another thing to research, although he made a mental note to himself to try talking to Mistyshard again sometime. The tomkit curled his tail around his starry paws as he waited somewhat impatiently. This was the correct dream, he had double checked it, Wolfkit just seemed to be elsewhere in the dream.

Wolfkit. From what he could gather she had been resurrected relatively recently, by the covenant. He hadn't directly interacted with the stuck up, self proclaimed, leaders of the afterlife, and he honestly found them rather ridiculous. They think they have the right to control who gets to go back to the living world and who has to stay dead. What a bunch of foxhearts. The system starclan had before for resurrections and reincarnations worked just fine, whoever wants to can try. For some cats they simply couldn't re-join their body, no matter how hard they tried to, but at least they had the freedom to attempt it. Plus, ever since the covenant started meddling things keep going wrong. More living cats are going missing (although that could be unrelated), murderers are being allowed to go back to the living world, HELL, THE BORDER GOT SO WEAK THAT DARKFOREST CATS STARTED GETTING THROUGH.
Its like the balance itself of the two afterlife planes is off.
Now thats a thought. Perhaps one worth looking into as a theory..

With a sharp exhale to calm himself, Sootkit gathered his thoughts and pushed them aside. Theory or not, what was important right now was gathering data. He needed to know more before he would be able to do anything about anything. Wolfkit would be a valuable source of information on the covenant, and perhaps ways to bypass them.
