Frogkit wanted to do something fun. She trotted out of the nursery, her beady
eyes looking across the clearing for her next KILL victim.

Then she spotted cardinalpaw, she looked to the other side of the clearing, she
realized she couldn't do her bites right now because he dad was nearby.

She trotted over to cardinalpaw.
"Hewo!"

The tom stopped his grooming and looked up, and then down, at the kit in front of their paws. He blinked "Uhm, hello..?" He said slowly, cautious. He had heard about this kits antics, biting cats and whatnot. He lowered his paw which he had now realized was still next to his face.

The young tom rolled his eyes. "Fighting a pack of dogs" He said sarcastically. As if that'd ever happen! "What does it look like I'm doing?" He asked flatly, swaying his tail on the ground.

Why did everyone seem to believe Wolffang was dead when even Twistedpaw admitted she didnt see what'd become of him?? Did no one have any faith in the old loyal tom, even Twilightstar seemed to be giving up. Crowtooths ears pinned at the mollys words, a very rare sight given their relationship (not that he said a single word about his frustration) and the tunneler forced himself to take a few deep raspy breaths to sooth his ruffled fur and calm. Though that didnt shake the denial.


Leechscar was set in charge of patrol and was taking Batglare and two others and already seemed angry at Deadmoon's insistence to join. So instead the tom kept his insistence that Wolffang couldnt be dead buried deep and instead made his case at a different angle.


"If yer going up against a coyote that could match Wolffang" Because he was at worst injured and not dead "The yer gonna need strong warriors an' Im the cat fer that. I got coyote experience besides."

Sure there could be concerns over his emotional state given the situation but Crowtooth had more then proven he was able to be fully competent through worse emotional turmoil and his support could very well be needed.


He would stomp down all emotions and his worry and frustration at the delays and everyone assuming the worst and be calm and just what was needed if he could just go on this patrol dammit.

Owlkit had been sleeping outside the nursery upsidedown, one leg kicking every now and then. At the sound of utter chaos, the embodiments Chaos Jumped to her paws. Stunned, Aubs just stood still as thing happened. Dangerous Coyotes... Dead warrior... BREEZY NOOOOO! The cinnamon tortoiseshell hadn't moved a muscle previously, but now she barreled into the action, but too late. Aw man, Grown-up stuff. She tried to bounce to get a solid view of Deadmoon, but failed. Plopping on her bottom, she just sat still. For once in her life she sat still. But only for a little while. Owlkit blinked her greenblue hues and turned to Bigcat. Oh, why did she look so... The kitten wasnt sure, but it made her nervous. Looking up at Twilightstar with big eyes, then silently stepped over and gave her a hug. A dramatic gesture, really. The kitten attempted to wrap her forepaws around Bigcat's chest, cheek smashed against her. Then, The kitten pulled back and let out a little noise. " Loved. Happy. Good cat. You're. " she said softly before trotting off to go escape the depression.

She couldn't see her face, eyes, or pelt, and so couldn't try to read the molly's body language even if she wanted to. Hearing cats talk to you and being unable to put a face to them was disheartening. This wave of melancholy sank its claws into her chest, squeezing painfully at her, she might have felt tears well up in her eyes if they had been opened. The she-cat found no reason to open her eyes anymore, she could yet see no point in it.

Dreamlight hoped that the she-cat wasn't talking to her out of pity. Dreamlight's already thrown more than enough pity parties for herself, she wasn't looking to invite anyone. It didn't sound like pity, but she hadn't figured out how to listen just right to detect hidden emotions in speech yet if she would at all. So, she couldn't tell if the cat was patronizing or not.

The lilac-gray she-cat let her ears shift sideways on her head after a name was given. Whiterabbit... who was that again. Dreamlight didn't know many of her clanmates, she rarely talked to them, but that didn't mean she didn't know who they were or their names. They lived together and it'd be weird if she couldn't place a name to a cat. "You're a queen, right?" Dreamlight asked after a blurred image popped into her head. It was more like a silhouette of the cat, and the faint outline of the nursery in her mind's eye. That's as far back as the name Whiterabbit brought her memory. Dreamlight couldn't recall who her kits were or anything like that.

At the question of her whereabouts, she flickered her left ear. She silently debated something before deciding there was no harm in meowing about something that was no big secret. "I'm not going anywhere; I'm trying to familiarize myself with the camp. Mot-hmm I mean Twilightstar is trying to make me retire to elders den. I don't want to, so I need to make myself useful and less of a burden on the clan; which means learning to be independent and how to hunt and fight again. I'm not getting all that far right now, but I'm trying." Was she oversharing? She was probably oversharing.

Dreamlight wasn't certain the appropriate amount of information was for informing cats about predicaments like hers. Whisperinghive hasn't been around much, which was not surprising, she knew better than to cling on to cats. She didn't talk to cats outside of her brother, Leechscar, so social cues and interactions were still a learning curve with her. Whiterabbit could always go away if she was bored or didn't care.

PERCHWIND

The gray tomcat turned his head as one of his clanmates approached. "it's been treating me fine, Stonetail," he mewed, dipping his head. Perchwind was glad that his clanmate came over, he needed a distraction. "Well, I do not have any kits of my own, so I do not know about kits going crazy. I would believe you, they can be... odd sometimes," he said calmly, casting a glance to the nursery. If that was true, stars he felt bad for the queens watching over them. "Say, How would you feel about going for a hunt? Get away from all the chaotic situations here," he suggested, stretching as he got up.

Stonetail turned his attention back to Perchwind and nodded “I’m glad that greenleafs been well for you..I sometimes forget not everyone is around the nursery see I have two kits can be quite the peril sometimes but I love em”.he said while smiling “I’ll gladly take you up on that offer to hunt”he added
